Detailed Results The show kicks off with SmackDown General Manager Booker T in the ring as the GM says that the fans know him and know what he has been about his entire career, saying that, if there is an issue that needs to be resolved, he will deal with it in the ring, in the back, or even in a supermarket. Booker continues, saying that he knows what it is like to be in an intense feud as a Superstar, but now he is the General Manager of SmackDown and his job is to make the best show possible for the fans. The GM then says that the feud between Big Show and Sheamus has become very personal, leading him to make a “drastic decision”! Before revealing the decision, Booker T shows footage explaining why action needs to be taken. The footage shown was from an episode of SmackDown last month, where the intense rivalry between Big Show and Sheamus, not to mention Big Show knocking out Sheamus’ friend, William Regal, in a pub fight, resulted in a vicious parking lot brawl between champion and challenger that left Big Show unconscious on the concrete floor as referees scrambled to pull Sheamus off of Big Show. The next piece of footage was from Survivor Series as, after the controversial end to the World Heavyweight Title match, an enraged Sheamus grabbed a steel chair and completely dismantled the World Heavyweight Champion with over 30 chair shots to the giant. Booker then says that the World Heavyweight Title is scheduled to up for grabs in a Chairs Match between Big Show and Sheamus at WWE TLC, but he is afraid that something is going to happen between now and then that will render one or both men unable to compete. The GM then announces that, until their title match at WWE TLC, there will be a “no contact clause” that will be made effective immediately! Booker then says that he wants to bring both Big Show and Sheamus out there to sign the no contact clause and make it official. Booker first introduces the reigning World Heavyweight Champion, Big Show, who makes his way to the ring, visibly unhappy, before the GM introduces the former champion, Sheamus, who also makes his way to the ring to face his WWE TLC opponent. With Big Show and Sheamus both in the ring, Booker T lays down the law for both men as the GM declares that, if Sheamus decides to violate the no contact clause, then he will lose his World Heavyweight Title match at WWE TLC! This puts a smile on Big Show’s face, but not for long, as Booker informs Big Show that, if he violates the no contact clause, then he will be stripped of the World Heavyweight Championship! Booker then asks the champion and the challenger to have a seat and sign the contract. Sheamus was asked to sign first and, after looking the contract over, “The Celtic Warrior” says that having to wait nine days to get his hands, not to mention a steel chair, on Big Show is like waiting for Christmas and, at WWE TLC, he will get the ultimate present, the World Heavyweight Title! Sheamus then signs the contract before Big Show is asked to sign and, after looking it over, Big Show warns that Sheamus should be careful what he wishes for. Big Show continues that Sheamus hit him over 30 times with a steel chair at Survivor Series, but he still got up. Big Show says that he only has to hit Sheamus with a steel chair once to put him down, telling “The Celtic Warrior” that Sheamus should ask Booker to get out of the Chairs Match, but saying that Sheamus is too “stupid” to realize what he has gotten himself into. Big Show then says that, if he hits Sheamus with a steel chair, then he may very well end Sheamus’ career! Big Show continues, saying that he has “experience” and he thinks things through, but Sheamus argues that he came to the WWE to “fight” and the last two times that they squared off have been the “greatest fights” of Big Show’s career. Sheamus then says that he made Big Show “relevant” again, telling the champion that he does not believe that Big Show has one more fight in him, saying that he will “gladly” end the career of Big Show at WWE TLC! The World Heavyweight Champion then makes the wily decision to turn the table over on top of Sheamus before quickly signing the contract, forbidding Sheamus from retaliating! However, “The Celtic Warrior” looked like he might have been willing to throw away his title shot, but Booker T take the brave initiative to step in front of Sheamus, informing Sheamus that he will have the chance to take his aggression out on someone later tonight when he faces Alberto Del Rio. The GM then tells the smiling Big Show that he will also be in action as the World Heavyweight Champion would face the man that defeated him in 45 seconds last year, Daniel Bryan, and that match is next! With a no contact clause preventing him from coming into contact with Sheamus before their title match at WWE TLC, the opening match of the night saw World Heavyweight Champion Big Show going one-on-one with the man who defeated him for the title in 45 seconds last year at WWE TLC, one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Daniel Bryan. During the match, Daniel Bryan would climb the top rope, ready to deliver his signature flying headbutt, but Bryan would spot The Shield making their way through the crowd. This distracts Daniel Bryan long enough for Big Show to grab Daniel Bryan, delivering the chokeslam to Bryan en route to picking up the win. After the match, Big Show caught sight of The Shield at ringside, opting to leave the ring. The Shield then commences the three-on-one beat down of Daniel Bryan, but Kane makes his way to the ring to try and save his tag team partner. The numbers game would overwhelm Kane, however, and The Shield would pummel Kane on the outside of the ring before Roman Reigns dismantles the announce table. Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, & Roman Reigns then hoist the WWE Tag Team Champion up, driving Kane through the announce table with their three-man powerbomb! “The Intellectual Savior of the Masses” Damien Sandow makes an appearance on SmackDown, saying that he has tried to raise the “cerebral bar” in the WWE for far too long, but it has all been for naught. Sandow then searches the crowd for someone to audition to try and become his “apprentice” before selecting an audience member to come into the ring and answer his three questions correctly. Sandow then asks his first question, asking the fan what “5+5” equals with the fan offering the correct answer of “10”. The second question for the fan was the identity of the current President of the United States, which the fan answers correctly with “Barack Obama”. Sandow’s third and final question for the fan was, “what 17th century genre of art, emanating from the Netherlands, focused on still life paintings depicting mortality and transience?” The fan admits that he does not know the answer and Sandow tells the fan that the answer is “Vinita’s” before shouting at the fan, telling him that he is a “disgrace” and he loses! The Miz then makes his way to the ring to confront Damien Sandow, asking Sandow which 21st century Superstar wears his “daddy’s bathrobe” and buys his pink ring gear from “Victoria’s Secret”, saying that the answer is Damien Sandow. Miz then tells the seething intellectual that Sandow is “welcome”! In their first match with all three members competing, 3MB would square off with “The Funkasaurus” Brodus Clay and Jimmy & Jey Uso in a 6-Man Tag Match on SmackDown. In the end, it was Drew McIntyre planting Jimmy Uso with the Future Shock DDT en route to picking up the win for 3MB. With Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston a guest on commentary, an intense rivalry would be renewed on SmackDown as “The Viper” Randy Orton went one-on-one with “The Bareknuckle Brawler” Wade Barrett. During the match, Wade Barrett would try and remove the turnbuckle pad to expose the steel turnbuckle, but Kofi Kingston gets on the ring apron. This distracts Wade Barrett long enough for Randy Orton to strike with the RKO en route to picking up the win. In a bizarre tag team match, The Great Khali teams with Hornswoggle, with Natalya in their corner, would face Primo & Epico, with Rosa Mendes in their corner. During the match, the antics of Hornswoggle would lead to a Divas brawl on the outside between Natalya and Rosa Mendes. In the end, it was Hornswoggle hitting the Tadpole Splash on Epico en route to picking up the unlikely win. United States Champion Antonio Cesaro appeared on SmackDown, saying that America is “weak” and that the American dream is a “lie”, saying that no one in the audience will amount to anything. Cesaro continues, saying that their children and grandchildren will be even more “pathetic”, but Cesaro is soon interrupted by his WWE TLC opponent, R-Truth. Truth says that, in the WWE, the “truth” shall set you free and, when he looks at America, he sees hard-working people who are trying to make ends meet. Truth continues, saying that it sounds like Cesaro is picking a fight with America and says that America will fight back. Cesaro responds by saying that Truth talks trash and cannot back it up, saying that Truth will “fail miserably”, just like America. R-Truth then attacks Cesaro and a brawl briefly breaks out before the United States Champion decides to leave the ring, even refusing to re-enter the ring to get his title belt back. Then it was time for the main event as, after signing a no contact clause that would forbid him from getting his hands on Big Show before WWE TLC, “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus would go one-on-one with “The Mexican Aristocrat” Alberto Del Rio, with Ricardo Rodriguez in his corner. During the match, World Heavyweight Champion Big Show makes his way to the staging area to ‘watch’ his WWE TLC opponent in action. In the end, it was Sheamus enduring the onslaught of Alberto Del Rio and locking in the Texas Cloverleaf on Del Rio, who does everything he can to avoid tapping out. However, Del Rio could only take the pain for so long as Del Rio would be forced to tap out as Sheamus picks up the win. After the match, Big Show would enter the ring, daring Sheamus to hit him and cost himself a title shot. “The Celtic Warrior” would then look ready to deliver the Brogue Kick and Big Show would ready himself by closing his eyes. However, Sheamus would use his head, grabbing Ricardo Rodriguez and using Rodriguez’s head to land a low-blow on Big Show, technically avoiding contact with the World Heavyweight Champion!
