WWE: RAW Rating News for December 3, 2012By Cassidy| December 6, 2012 Wrestling News The ratings for WWE’s flagship Monday Night RAW continue to plummet week-by-week as, according to TVByTheNumbers.com, this past Monday’s RAW scored an overall rating of 3.4 (hour one got a 1.2 rating, hour two got a 1.1 rating, and hour three got a 1.1 rating), which is down from the 4.0 rating that RAW has received last week and the week before. Over the entire three hours, RAW received over 10 million viewers. RAW was the 8th, 10th, and 12th highest rated show on Monday nights with RAW’s main competition coming from the History Channel show, Pawn Stars, and reruns of Family Guy on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim with RAW’s first hour being the most popular of the three hours. Much like last week, RAW was beat in the ratings by Pawn Stars, Catfish: The Movie, Teen Mom, ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown, ESPN’s Sports Center, and, the top rated show on Monday night, regular season NFL football on ESPN. RAW’s struggle in the ratings department is the explanation for Vince McMahon making more on-air appearances, which initially improved the ratings when he returned back in October and had a confrontation, as well as a match, with CM Punk, but the ratings have started to slip again, so expect a lot more of the Mr. McMahon character in the coming weeks.
