WWE Spoilers: Latest Update on Cody Rhodes’ Survivor Series StatusBy Cassidy| November 18, 2012 Wrestling News On Wednesday’s WWE Main Event (which was taped on Tuesday), during a WWE Tag Team Title match between Team Hell No and Team Rhodes Scholars, Cody Rhodes took a backdrop from Kane and landed awkwardly on his head and right shoulder, effectively taking Rhodes out of the match as his tag team partner, Damien Sandow, had to finish the match on his own. The initial report from WWE.com stated that Rhodes suffered a concussion and a strained shoulder, but Rhodes provided an update on his condition via Twitter, “MRI results…Torn trapezius grade 2. Torn deltoid grade 1. Separated shoulder. No surgery needed. Won’t stop us.” In addition, the Wrestling-Online Newsletter is reporting that Cody Rhodes will be examined on Sunday for lingering effects stemming from the concussion and that is when the determination will be made as to whether or not Rhodes will be cleared to compete in the Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match. Rumor has it that, if Rhodes is unable to compete on Sunday, his spot on Team Ziggler will be filled by Tensai. Do you think Cody Rhodes will be cleared to compete at Survivor Series?
