WWE Spoilers: Cody Rhodes Injured, Pulled from Survivor Series?By Cassidy| November 16, 2012 Wrestling News Anyone who watched Wednesday’s episode of WWE Main Event would have noticed that, via a backdrop from Kane in the WWE Tag Team Title match, Cody Rhodes landed awkwardly on his head and right shoulder, effectively taking the second-generation star out of the remainder of the match with his tag partner, Damien Sandow, having to finish the rest of the match on his own. After the match, WWE physicians established that Rhodes had suffered a strained shoulder, in addition to a concussion, and it seems very likely that Rhodes will not be cleared to compete in time for Survivor Series this Sunday night. Typically, with concussions alone, WWE mandates at least a week away from the ring to avoid the risk of further injury. This, combined with the unknown status of Rhodes’ shoulder, will likely see Rhodes being pulled from the Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match this Sunday.
