WWE RAW Results: November 5, 2012By Cassidy| November 6, 2012 WWE Raw The Ultimate Feast? The WWE would visit across the pond as the 1015th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW came to you from the LG Arena at the NEC Birmingham in Birmingham, England. For the first time since his shocking actions cost Ryback the WWE Championship inside Hell in a Cell, the “rogue referee”, Brad Maddox, will appear on RAW to explain his actions to the world and shed some light on why he decided to low-blow Ryback and become the sole, deciding factor in the title match that saw CM Punk walk out as the WWE Champion. What will Brad Maddox have to say for himself? How will Ryback respond to what Maddox has to say? After publicly stating that he had nothing to do with Brad Maddox’s actions, was CM Punk telling the truth? Also, after presenting John Cena and the WWE Universe with her evidence of the alleged affair between Cena and AJ Lee, RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero has vowed to present even more evidence as Vickie continues to fuel the fire that is the “AJ Scandal”. Detailed Results Before the show officially got underway, a conversation between The Miz and Paul Heyman from earlier in the day is shown as Miz questions the effectiveness of CM Punk’s leadership of Team Punk for the Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match against Team Foley, asking Heyman what kind of leader abandons his team and “runs away”. Heyman argues that Punk did not run away, he made a “strategic retreat”, saying that it is called the “art of war”. Heyman then tells Miz that everybody needs to get on the same page as the WWE Champion, but Miz says that both Punk and Heyman are “full of crap” and he does not need Punk or Heyman. Miz then drops a bombshell on Heyman, saying that, as far as Team Punk goes, he quits! RAW officially kicks off with 6-Man Tag action as R-Truth teams with Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara to face the team of United States Champion Antonio Cesaro and The Prime Time Players. In the end, it was Rey Mysterio hitting the 619 on Antonio Cesaro and R-Truth following it up with the Little Jimmy en route to Truth pinning the United States Champion and picking up the win for himself, Rey Mysterio, & Sin Cara. With promises of more concrete evidence of the alleged affair between John Cena and AJ Lee, the Managing Supervisor of RAW, Vickie Guerrero, appears on RAW. Over the deafening boos from the crowd, the Managing Supervisor states that “hanky panky” is not allowed because they must act like “professionals”. Vickie continues, saying that acting professional is something that John Cena has a hard time with. Having to shout over the noise of the crowd, Vickie re-presents her evidence of the “AJ Scandal”, showing Cena publicly asking AJ Lee out on a date, an embrace between the two after AJ’s resignation, and AJ entering an elevator with Cena. Before the Managing Supervisor can continue, John Cena interrupts as Vickie declares that she runs a “clean show”. Cena disputes this, however, reminding Vickie and the world how, when Vickie was the General Manager of SmackDown, she was married to Edge and used her power to give him the World Heavyweight Championship, but after Edge and Vickie split, Vickie bunked up with Dolph Ziggler and ended up giving him the World Heavyweight Championship. Cena then recommends that, instead of trying to run a “clean show”, Vickie should explain to the people who she is. Cena then calls Vickie a “toffee-nosed, dodgy, old slapper with a face like a swamp donkey” and Vickie responds by saying that an “unsolicited” individual sent her some security camera footage. Vickie then shows the footage, which shows AJ Lee leaving her room in a bathrobe, walking a short ways down the hall and knocking on someone’s door. While the room’s tenant is not shown, the door is opened and AJ Lee enters the room. Vickie then calls AJ a “sneaky exhibitionist”, but Cena disputes that she has footage of AJ walking from one room to another room in a bathrobe, saying that it means “absolutely nothing”. However, Vickie presents more security camera footage, this time from a different angle. This footage shows John Cena, in a towel, exiting his hotel room and replacing the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the doorknob. Vickie gets a kick out of the whole thing, saying that it must have been “one heck of a business meeting”. Cena then points out that those are two completely different cameras, admitting that he was “scantily clad” and he did put a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door because he did not want to be disturbed. Vickie then invites AJ Lee to come out there and explain the situation herself, but AJ opts to appear on the Titan Tron, saying that Vickie does not want her to come out there because she will give the Managing Supervisor the beating of her life. AJ continues that Vickie would then fire her and she would not be allowed to do what she loves to do. Dolph Ziggler then appears next to AJ, saying that everyone knows what AJ “loves to do” and, as Vickie cackles evilly, John Cena rushes to the backstage area. Backstage, Paul Heyman is speaking with an unknown individual, saying that The Miz is “conniving” and “cowardly” and that Team Punk needs someone like “you”. The “you” in question is then revealed to be England’s own Wade Barrett, but Barrett says that he refused Heyman’s offer last week and he is still refusing this week, citing that he does not trust Heyman. Barrett then has a quick change of heart, saying that he will agree to be on Team Punk at Survivor Series on one condition, saying that Heyman “owes” him and he wants it in writing! What will Wade Barrett ask for in exchange for being the fifth man on Team Punk? The WWE Tag Team Champions, Team Hell No, appeared on RAW as Daniel Bryan, with Kane in his corner, went one-on-one with Cody Rhodes, with Damien Sandow in his corner. All hell breaks loose on the outside of the ring during the match as Damien Sandow attacks Kane from behind, leading to Daniel Bryan diving out of the ring and taking down Sandow. Cody Rhodes then hits the Disaster Kick on Daniel Bryan, before rolling Bryan back into the ring, hitting Cross Rhodes en route to pinning one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions. After the chaotic match, Cody Rhodes says that his victory was “impressive”, claiming that his partner, Damien Sandow, could defeat Kane just as easily as he just defeated Bryan. However, the intellectual Superstar does not agree with his tag team partner’s assessment, but Kane does not give Sandow a choice as “The Big Red Machine” drags Damien Sandow into the ring. Sandow manages to briefly escape Kane, but the WWE Tag Team Champion retrieves Sandow and the match is made official. Moments after Cody Rhodes was able to take advantage of the chaos created by his tag team partner to defeat Daniel Bryan, Rhodes’ tag team partner, Damien Sandow, would go one-on-one with the other half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, “The Big Red Monster” Kane! During the match, Cody Rhodes gets on the ring apron and Daniel Bryan pulls Rhodes off of the apron. After Rhodes cuts through the ring with Bryan in pursuit, the referee ejects both Cody Rhodes and Daniel Bryan from ringside! With his backup gone, Damien Sandow was at the mercy of “The Big Red Monster” as Kane plants “The Intellectual Savior of the Masses” with the chokeslam en route to picking up a dominant victory. For the first time since his highly controversial and much talked about involvement in the WWE Title match at Hell in a Cell where he delivered a low-blow to Ryback, blatantly costing Ryback the title, the suspended “rogue referee”, Brad Maddox, would appear on RAW to explain his actions. Commentator Michael Cole would appear in the ring to conduct the interview as Cole introduces the “rogue referee” as Brad Maddox nervously makes his way to the ring. Cole states that Maddox was summoned to WWE Headquarters last week to appear before a Board of Inquiry regarding his actions at Hell in a Cell before Cole asks Maddox for the explanation that he gave to the Board and, more importantly, if Maddox is working with Paul Heyman and the WWE Champion, CM Punk. The nervous and emotional referee says that Heyman and Punk had nothing to do with it, that it was all him. Maddox continues that, all his life, all he ever wanted to do was be a WWE Superstar and, for years, he has tried to get his foot in the door at the WWE. Maddox explains that he has sent tapes to every Talent Relations office that he could think of, saying he has been to countless tryouts and live events. Maddox continues that, after all of this, he was finally given an opportunity with a developmental contract, but he was still not good enough in the eyes of the higher-ups. Maddox ponders that, maybe it’s because is only six feet tall and 207 pounds or maybe it is because he is not a giant or a monster or because he doesn’t wear a mask. Maddox continues that, even when they told him that he would never make it to the main roster, his dream did not die, it got stronger. Maddox then says that he wants to be somebody, so he made a vow to do “whatever it takes” to make it to the WWE, so he became a referee and, when RAW expanded to three hours, he saw his chance to make an “impact”. Maddox says that he knows what he did was wrong and his actions were driven by a need to become somebody and he succeeded, saying that he is “famous” now and everyone knows his name! Maddox then makes the bold proclamation that he wants a WWE contract and he wants a match with Ryback! Maddox explains that, at this point, no one is ever going to forget who Brad Maddox is. After explaining himself, Brad Maddox was set to leave the ring, but he is halted by the arrival of the man who holds Maddox’s dream in the palm of his hand, WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon. McMahon says that it is one thing to want to make a name for yourself, but it is another to have a “death wish”. McMahon then says that he does not believe a word that Maddox has said, saying that, somehow, CM Punk and Paul Heyman are involved with this whole situation and he is going to get to the bottom of it. The Chairman then says that he will give Maddox a million-dollar contract, but only if Maddox can defeat Ryback on next week’s RAW! After ordering Brad Maddox out of the ring, Mr. McMahon retrieves RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, asking if it is okay if he offers Maddox a contract and Vickie gives a quick “yes, sir” to the Chairman. McMahon then asks if Vickie agrees that CM Punk was somehow involved with Brad Maddox and his involvement at Hell in a Cell with Vickie nervously agreeing. McMahon then asks why the Managing Supervisor would “reward” CM Punk by giving the WWE Champion a team of men to “hide behind” in a Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match instead of having Punk defend the WWE Title at Survivor Series. The Chairman then tries to force the hand of the Managing Supervisor, saying that Vickie was just thinking that and stating that she was thinking of having Punk defend the WWE Title, but against whom? Vickie then tries to play her hand by offering the title opportunity to “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Dolph Ziggler, but McMahon corrects Vickie, saying that Vickie was going to give the title match to a man who truly deserves it. Vickie finally squeaks out the answer that McMahon wanted to hear, Ryback, but the Chairman was not satisfied with a one-on-one match for the WWE Title between CM Punk and Ryback as McMahon says that Vickie was thinking of making the match a Triple Threat Match! McMahon then gives Vickie the opportunity to name the third man in the match, mentioning that, if Vickie says Dolph Ziggler, he will fire her on the spot! Vickie then thinks about it for a minute and, when she realizes who the Chairman is talking about, Vickie says that this individual cannot be put in the WWE Title match because he is involved in the AJ scandal. McMahon then asks if this individual is the same person who stepped aside so that Ryback could get his first WWE Title match at Hell in a Cell and if that individual is the same one who battled CM Punk to a draw at Night of Champions with Vickie finally uttering the name, John Cena! McMahon then says that Vickie does not always make the most popular decisions, but, on occasion, she does make the “right decision”. With Vickie Guerrero forced to make a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Title between champion CM Punk, Ryback, and John Cena, where does this leave the proposed Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match that was originally scheduled to feature both Punk and Ryback? Thirteen nights before he gets his rematch against Big Show for the World Heavyweight Title at Survivor Series, “The Celtic Warrior” was in action on RAW as Sheamus went one-on-one with The Miz with World Heavyweight Champion Big Show a guest on commentary. In the end, it was Sheamus blasting The Miz with the Brogue Kick en route to picking up the win. Backstage, Vickie Guerrero exits the office of Mr. McMahon with some good news for Dolph Ziggler as the Managing Supervisor reveals that, with the Chairman putting CM Punk in a Triple Threat Match against Ryback and John Cena for the WWE Title at Survivor Series, Dolph Ziggler will replace CM Punk as the team captain in the Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match! The celebration between Dolph and Vickie is then interrupted by WWE Champion CM Punk, who sarcastically says that he is so happy for Dolph. Punk accuses McMahon of trying to cost him the WWE Title, calling the Chairman a “cranky, old bastard” who wants revenge for the beating he gave him a few weeks ago. Vickie then reveals the news that the main event on RAW will see CM Punk team with Dolph Ziggler to face the team of Ryback and John Cena! The Divas were in tag team action as Layla & Kaitlyn faced the team of Divas Champion Eve & Aksana. In the end, it was Kaitlyn hitting a sit-out neckbreaker on Eve en route to pinning the Divas Champion and getting the win for herself and Layla. Before they are on opposing teams in the Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match, “The Mexican Aristocrat” Alberto Del Rio went one-on-one with Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston on RAW. During the match, Randy Orton would get a measure of revenge against Alberto Del Rio as Orton’s music blares throughout the arena, distracting Del Rio long enough for Kofi Kingston to roll Del Rio up for the win. After the match, Randy Orton comes out of nowhere, dropping Del Rio with the RKO in the middle of the ring! What will happen on Super SmackDown LIVE when Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio go one-on-one in a Falls Count Anywhere Match? In tag team action, Primo & Epico, with Rosa Mendes in their corner, faced Team CoBro, Zack Ryder & Santino Marella, on RAW. In the end, it was Santino Marella hitting the Cobra Strike on Epico en route to picking up the win for Team CoBro. Before he faces Sheamus on WWE Main Event, England’s own Wade Barrett was in action on RAW as “The Bareknuckle Brawler” went one-on-one with “The Funkasaurus” Brodus Clay. In the end, it was Wade Barrett putting “The Funkasaurus” down with the Souvenir Elbow en route to picking up the win in his home country. Two-thirds of 3MB appeared on RAW as Heath Slater, with Jinder Mahal, in his corner, went one-on-one with Jey Uso, with Jimmy Uso in his corner. In the end, it was Heath Slater hitting the Smash Hit on Jey Uso en route to picking up the win. Before the main event, WWE Champion CM Punk and Paul Heyman make an appearance as Punk says that, at Hell in a Cell, he defeated the undefeated Ryback and several people were quick to point fingers at Punk for orchestrating the actions of Brad Maddox at Hell in a Cell, but Maddox admitted to the world that he acted alone. The WWE Champion then states that his Team Punk was “demoted” to becoming Team Ziggler earlier in the night, saying that Mr. McMahon will continue his “ favorite tradition” of “screwing his most-talented performer” at Survivor Series. Punk continues that he has been the WWE Champion for 351 days and he has proven that he is better than every Superstar in the WWE and any wrestler in the world. Punk then vows that, at Survivor Series, he will celebrate 364 days as the WWE Champion and his “reign of excellence” will continue! Then it was time for the combustible main event as WWE Champion CM Punk, with Paul Heyman in his corner, would team up with “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Dolph Ziggler to face Punk’s two challengers in the Triple Threat Match for the WWE Title at Survivor Series, John Cena and “The Sin City Cyborg” Ryback. At the end of a stellar tag team main event, it was Ryback getting his hands on CM Punk, dropping Punk with Shell Shocked en route to pinning the WWE Champion to pick up the win for himself and John Cena! After the match, Ryback and John Cena come face-to-face in the center of the ring as Ryback chants “feed me more” in Cena’s face! What did you think of this week’s RAW?
