Big TNA News: Winter Released from Contract!By Cassidy| September 14, 2012 Wrestling News The Wrestling-Online Newsletter is reporting that Winter (Katarina Waters) has parted ways with TNA Wrestling as the company opted not to renew the Knockout’s contract. Katarina was a part of the WWE, as Katie Lea Burchill, until she was released from the WWE in 2010. Six months later, Katarina joined TNA under the ring name, Winter, and, during her two-year stint in the company, Winter won the Knockouts Title on two different occasions, as well as holding the Knockouts Tag Team Titles with Angelina Love, who was granted her release from TNA on July 1.
