WWE: Rey Mysterio Suffers Concussion at SummerSlam

WWE.com is reporting that SmackDown Superstar Rey Mysterio suffered a concussion during his match with The Miz at SummerSlam. During the Intercontinental Title match, Miz would execute a sit-down powerbomb on Rey, whose head bounced on the ring mat, likely causing the concussion. The former WWE Champion underwent tests on Monday that confirmed that Mysterio did indeed suffer a concussion. As a result, Mysterio has been pulled from all television tapings and live events this week and will be undergoing further testing later on in the week. WWE has seriously started to crack down on concussions over recent months after learning of the serious long-term effects of the brain injury.
