WWE: Update on Kharma’s ReleaseBy Cassidy| August 8, 2012 Wrestling News The Wrestling-Online Newsletter is reporting that, in an interview with TMZ, the recently released Kharma (Kia Stevens) reveals that the reason that she was released from the WWE was because of her weight gain. The weight gain came as a result of her miscarriage late last year, as well as a deep depression that she fell into following the loss of her child. Stevens says that she gained a lot of weight during the pregnancy, as well, which may have contributed to the miscarriage. The former Kharma has recruited a team of fitness professionals and therapists to help her lose weight and she also plans to document the entire process in the hopes of getting a reality show out of it. Despite her aspirations to get a reality show out of her transformation, Kia’s ultimate goal is to get back into wrestling. Kharma’s last television appearance was at the Royal Rumble in January where she made a surprise appearance in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match, becoming only the third female (in addition to Chyna and Beth Phoenix) in history to take part in the match.
