WWE: Network Launching with WrestleMania 29?By Cassidy| July 25, 2012 Wrestling News As previously reported, the WWE Network is not expected to launch until sometime next year and F4WOnline.com is reporting that WWE is planning to launch the WWE Network the same day as WrestleMania 29 on April 7. The Network was originally planned for this year’s WrestleMania and then it was pushed back to a November launch before its current launch in 2013, but lack of Network interest from DirecTV and lack of support from other networks has put the WWE Network’s status in question. WWE is still working on digitizing their massive video library for the Network and the company continues to hire new employees for the Network. Anyone who kept a close eye on RAW 1,000 this past Monday night noticed some unaltered shots of the Attitude Era WWF “scratch” logo. While it is common knowledge that the company has been legally forbidden from using the logo, as well as using any audible “WWF” mentions, since 2002 due to a lawsuit by the World Wildlife Foundation. However, it has now come out that the WWE is being allowed to use their former initials in brief flashback clips only, but the WWE is hoping to work a deal out that will allow them to air the logo, unblurred, by the time that the WWE Network launches. When do you think the WWE Network will finally launch? Post your comments in the box below.
