WWE Spoilers: News on John Laurinaitis and Two Titles’ FuturesBy Cassidy| July 22, 2012 Wrestling News F4WOnline.com is reporting that former RAW & SmackDown General Manager John Laurinaitis, who was ‘fired’ at No Way Out last month and made his final appearance on the June 17 episode of RAW one night later, may be returning to TV sooner than later. During his time as an on-screen character, it was reported that Laurinaitis’ backstage duties in the WWE were drastically scaled down as Laurinaitis is no longer the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations as Triple H took over that position, among others. The only job that “Big Johnny” is currently responsible for is the WWE payroll. With that said, there are currently plans to bring Laurinaitis back as an on-screen character either at SummerSlam or the night after. Since his removal from television, Laurinaitis has still been making appearances at WWE Live Events. Do you want to see John Laurinaitis back on television? Post your comments in the box below. According to F4WOnline.com, the WWE was planning to unify the Intercontinental and United States Titles as recently as a few weeks ago, but the word going around is that the WWE has nixed the idea with no reason being given. There is speculation, however, that the two titles may still be unified, but it will not be for quite awhile and there has been talk of a unification match taking place at WrestleMania 29 next year.
