WWE: Premier Independent Diva Signed to Contract

PWInsider.com is reporting that the WWE has signed top independent female wrestler Sara Del Rey (Sara Amato) to a contract with the CHIKARA and Jersey All-Pro Wrestling competitor going through the medical clearance necessary when signing with the company. Once she is done with the medical process of being signed, Del Rey will be reporting to WWE’s developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling.

Sara Del Rey is widely considered one of the best female wrestlers in the wrestling business today and several people within the company are anxious to see Del Rey become a part of the fledgling Divas roster and see the signing as a major change coming to the division.

In addition to CHIKARA and Jersey All-Pro Wrestling (her most recent independent involvement), Del Rey has most notably worked for Ring of Honor, as well as Shimmer Women Athletes and the short-lived MTV promotion, Wrestling Society X.
