WWE/TNA: What is Keeping Ric Flair from WWE?By Cassidy| June 28, 2012 Wrestling News The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that sixteen-time World Champion and recently released TNA star Ric Flair is restricted by a no-compete clause, per his contract with TNA, which is why we have not seen “The Nature Boy” return to the WWE yet. There is also some speculation that the ongoing litigation between WWE and TNA has also kept Flair from signing with the WWE. There has been no confirmation on how long Flair’s no-compete clause is, but the typical no-compete clause lasts for 60 days after the talent’s release.
