WWE: Vince McMahon “Banning” Certain City NamesBy Cassidy| June 28, 2012 Wrestling News PWInsider is reporting that the latest unusual call by WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon has been to “ban” the names of certain cities from being mentioned on the air. Recent examples of this were this past Monday night’s RAW where Vince made the call to not mention that RAW was in Fort Wayne, IN. In this instance, the name of the arena was not even mentioned, only the state where RAW was taking place. This was also done for a recent episode of SmackDown when the blue brand was in Columbia, SC. Apparently, Vince is doing this for all cities that he deems not “big league” enough to be mention, so if you are not a New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, Los Angeles, or another major U.S. city, don’t expect to hear your city mentioned on television. What do you think of Vince banning the mention of certain cities? Post your comments in the box below.
