WWE: Update on Randy Orton’s SuspensionBy Cassidy| June 4, 2012 Wrestling News The Mexican wrestling magazine, Super Luchas Magazine, is reporting that Randy Orton’s 60-day suspension from the WWE this past Wednesday for his second Wellness Policy violation came as a result of Orton testing positive for Dianabol (an orally-effective anabolic steroid). Dianabol used to be the steroid of choice for several bodybuilders until Congress banned it in 1970 as a part of the Controlled Substances Act. It’s also being reported that Orton actually underwent two drug tests with Orton testing positive for marijuana on the first test and the aforementioned Dianabol on the second test. However, testing positive for marijuana is not currently an offense that renders a suspension in the WWE as those testing positive are fined $2,500, which Orton was fined for. Randy Orton has a history of smoking marijuana as the nine-time World Champion was caught smoking it back in 2006 and he was suspended for 60 days for “unprofessional conduct” (though this suspension was not “counted” as a Wellness Policy violation). As previously reported, if Orton has one more Wellness Policy violation, he will be released from his WWE contract. What do you think of Randy Orton’s fine and suspension?
