WWE: Details on Christian’s TNA AppearanceBy Cassidy| June 14, 2012 Wrestling News After reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion Christian appeared on TNA’s Slammiversary pay-per-view this past Sunday night, F4WOnline.com has uncovered details about the agreement between the WWE and TNA. Christian’s appearance at Slammiversary came as a result of TNA allowing then contracted talent Ric Flair to appear at WWE’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony a few months ago. The WWE was careful to control everything that Christian did and did not say at the event. While the Intercontinental Champion got along well with everyone, Christian reportedly did not want to be there and was solidly against the idea when the deal between WWE and TNA was being put together. WWE was able to convince Christian to attend to keep their end of the deal since TNA kept theirs. While WWE granted TNA the opportunity to announce Christian’s appearance on television, but TNA President Dixie Carter opted to make the announcement via Twitter to try and generate some buzz for the pay-per-view.
