Breaking WWE News: Randy Orton Suspended!By Cassidy| May 30, 2012 Wrestling News WWE.com is reporting that SmackDown Superstar Randy Orton has been suspended for 60 days for his second violation of the WWE Wellness Policy. Orton’s first Wellness violation was in 2007 when Orton was one of many wrestlers suspended after being linked to a steroid scandal. The nine-time World Champion was also suspended for 60 days in 2006 for “unprofessional conduct”, later revealed to be a result of Orton smoking marijuana backstage. This suspension will keep Orton from making any WWE appearances until after July 28, meaning that Orton will miss out on two WWE pay-per-views, but will be back in time for SummerSlam. If “The Viper” violates the Wellness Policy one more time, he will be released from his contract. Orton joins Rey Mysterio and Chris Jericho on the list of Superstars currently serving suspensions (though Jericho’s suspension is not for a Wellness Policy violation).
