WWE: Update on a Possible Ric Flair ReturnBy Cassidy| May 24, 2012 Wrestling News The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair has officially parted ways with TNA Wrestling and it seems very likely that the two-time WWE Hall of Famer will be returning to the WWE. While Ric Flair will not be wrestling, per the emotional retirement that the WWE gave Flair at WrestleMania XXIV a few years ago and the send-off on RAW the next night where Flair was embraced by some of his greatest friends as the entire WWE roster, including The Undertaker, applauded for the legend. The general feeling is that the sixteen-time World Champion will be brought back to the WWE to be a part of the upcoming WWE Network and good friend Triple H will likely be doing whatever he can to get Flair back in the company and to be used in some capacity. Also, with WWE recently signing Ric Flair’s daughter, Ashley, to a developmental contract, it makes sense for the father and daughter to be in the same company with Flair likely introducing her to the main roster once she is ready to debut. As reported yesterday, Flair’s TNA departure came as a result of Flair’s behavior outside of the ring as “The Nature Boy” reportedly got himself banned from several local bars, restaurants, and hotels while employed by TNA and the company felt that it was more trouble than it was worth to keep him around.
