WWE: John Cena Files for DivorceBy Cassidy| May 12, 2012 Wrestling News TMZ.com is reporting that ten-time WWE Champion and main event Superstar John Cena has filed for divorce from his wife of three years, Elizabeth “Liz” Huberdeau, citing that the marriage between the high school sweethearts was “irretrievably broken”. While caught off-guard by John filing for divorce, Liz has lawyered up with famous Miami attorney, Raymond Rafool, who was the same lawyer who represented Linda Hogan and took Hulk Hogan to the cleaners. Additionally, Liz signed a prenuptial agreement in 2009 and Cena had approached Liz with a pre-divorce financial settlement agreement, but the soon-to-be ex-wife of Cena refused to sign the agreement, believing that they could work things out. Liz’s lawyer released the following statement, “Although it is indeed unfortunate that John Cena decided to divorce his high school sweetheart Liz Cena; particularly, after they have come so far in their lives and in his career together, Liz will and really has no choice but to pursue all of her rights and entitlements.” The attorney adds, “Sadly, divorce is not the way Liz thought her perfect love story would end.” TMZ.com later posted an update to the story, saying that John Cena has been “miserable” and a “wreck” for a few months now due to the deterioration of their marriage, which really began after they were wed in 2009 and has gotten much worse over the last couple of months. TMZ has reached out to John Cena for comment, but the Superstar has not responded. What do you think of John Cena getting divorced? Post your comments in the box below.
