WWE Spoilers: Update on The Undertaker’s RetirementBy Cassidy| March 1, 2012 Wrestling News The Bleacher Report is reporting that the legendary Undertaker has had surgeries on his shoulder and hip during the year he was away from the WWE, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Many people originally expected “The Deadman” to retire after this year’s WrestleMania, but the WWE has not made any kind of angle to support this idea as his scheduled Hell in a Cell match against Triple H at WrestleMania 28 does not have Undertaker putting his career on the line and it is now widely believed that “The Phenom” still has a few years of competition left in him. It is also believed that having Undertaker compete in one match a year at WrestleMania will extend ‘Taker’s career. This will be The Undertaker’s 22nd year as an active WWE competitor.
