WWE Spoilers: New Plans for Wade Barrett After ReturnBy Cassidy| March 18, 2012 Wrestling News With the dislocated elbow he suffered on the February 20 edition of RAW, putting him out of action until July at the latest, WWE’s plans for a Wade Barrett push seemed to be nixed, but it now appears that those plans will simply be delayed until Barrett can return, reports WrestleScoop.com. While the original plan was to have Wade Barrett win the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania and have him begin a feud with WWE Champion CM Punk, it now appears that WWE will actually have the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match take place at SummerSlam in August. This will confuse several people as WWE currently plans to hold the annual Money-in-the-Bank pay-per-view in June, so either WWE will have three Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Matches (two at the Money-in-the-Bank event and one at SummerSlam) or they still plan to nix the event. Regardless of how they go about it, WWE plans to have Barrett prominently featured at SummerSlam, leading to a feud with CM Punk over the WWE Championship this fall.
