WWE: TNA President Comments on Ric Flair’s Hall of Fame AppearanceBy Cassidy| March 28, 2012 Wrestling News After a lot of uncertainty over the last few months on whether or not “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair will be allowed to appear at the WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony with the rest of The Four Horsemen despite his contractual status with rival company, TNA Wrestling, the Wrestling-Online Newsletter is reporting that TNA President Dixie Carter has given her blessing for Flair’s appearance as the two companies have come to an agreement. In a press release released by Flair’s agents, Dixie commented, “We are proud of Ric’s many accomplishments and contributions he has made to the world of professional wrestling and beyond. We wish to congratulate him on yet another honor he truly deserves. Understanding what a huge honor this is for Flair, TNA is graciously supporting him in his decision to attend the Hall of Fame ceremony alongside his fellow inductees.” The legend himself, Ric Flair, adding, “Being inducted once was one of the greatest accomplishments of my career, so I’m humbled and honored to be recognized again. I wouldn’t miss the ceremony for the world.” As previously mentioned, Ric Flair was first inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2008, so this year’s induction with The Four Horsemen will make Flair the first legend in history to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame twice. The 2012 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place this Saturday night, March 31, at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL and will air as a one-hour special (featuring the inductions of Edge, Mike Tyson, and The Four Horsemen) on April 2 at 8/7c on the USA Network.
