Big WWE News: Venue for WrestleMania 29 Announced!By Cassidy| February 16, 2012 Wrestling News WWE.com has announced that the WWE has decided on a venue for WrestleMania XXIX (29) next year on April 7, 2013 as “The Show of Shows” will emanate from the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, the home of the New York Jets and this year’s Super Bowl champions, the New York Giants. WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon held a press conference today for the formal announcement and Vince was joined by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, New York Giants President and CEO John Mara, New York Jets Owner and CEO Woody Johnson, NYC & Company CEO George Fertitta, as well as WWE Superstars Triple H, John Cena, Sheamus, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
