Also, after a Champion vs. Champion Match between WWE Champion CM Punk and World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan ended in a double pin controversy on Super SmackDown LIVE last week, Interim RAW General Manager John Laurinaitis has taken to Twitter, trying to place the blame solely on SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long and contemplating having the rematch on RAW. Detailed Results After their Champion vs. Champion match on Super SmackDown LIVE last week thrice ended in controversy, with the last ending being a double pinfall, RAW kicks off with the rematch as WWE Champion CM Punk went one-on-one with World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan in a Champion vs. Champion Match. However, before Daniel Bryan can come out for the match, CM Punk’s WrestleMania opponent, Chris Jericho makes his way to the ring. Jericho tells Punk that what he has to say is a little more important than the Champion vs. Champion match before saying that Punk is not as good as him because he is the true “best in the world”. Jericho continues that he never needed to proclaim that he is the best in the world as the fans told him he was the best. Jericho then says that he is part of a “dying breed” of Superstars as he has toured the world before joining the WWE, adding that guys like him were “given nothing and took everything”. Jericho then says that he had a “bad reputation” with the powers that be, but he did not care because he knew that he was the best. Jericho continues that Punk is a “maverick”, but Punk just wants to be like him, calling Punk a “wannabe”. Punk says that he and the fans know how good Jericho is, but the problem he has with Jericho is that he has fought for everything he has earned. Punk then says that Jericho did not “invent” saying he was the best before mentioning Hall of Famer Bret “Hitman” Hart, who proclaimed himself to be “the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be”. Punk then asks if Jericho gave that to Bret and if Jericho invented Canada, as well. Jericho says that Punk needs to take him seriously and he has proven that he is the best for the past twenty years and he has faced every Legend and Hall of Famer in the ring and defeated them all. Jericho continues that he has had matches that fans will remember long after they are both gone. Jericho then proclaims that he is the “literal” best in the world at everything he does. Punk says that Jericho screams “superiority”, but his body language proves “inferiority”. Punk then asks if Jericho is trying to prove to himself that he is the best, saying that Jericho is “jealous” that, while Jericho is a former WWE Champion, Jericho was never really “the man” like he is. Punk continues that Jericho has a “Napoleon complex” and, while Jericho says that he is the “best in the world” at what he does, but he says that he is the “best wrestler in the world”. Punk says that he was born this way and wrestling is what he does, while Jericho leaves to write books and be a rock star, he is there with the “sharks” while Jericho “dances with the stars”. Jericho says that, the whole time he was gone, all he could think about was how Punk was ripping him off. Jericho then says that the return vignettes were all “window dressing” so that he could return and embarrass Punk on the grand stage of WrestleMania before again proclaiming that he is the best in the world. Punk then says that he does not need Chris Brown and Jericho does not need Mickey Rourke because the only thing they need is the two of them in the ring for the WWE Title at WrestleMania. Punk then proclaims that their match could be the “greatest match ever” before saying that, at WrestleMania, it will not be the end of the world, it will just be the end of Jericho’s world! With an entourage consisting of his girlfriend, A.J., Interim RAW General Manager John Laurinaitis, and Laurinaitis’ legal counsel, David Otunga, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring as Bryan would go one-on-one with WWE Champion CM Punk in a Champion vs. Champion Match. However, before the match begins, Laurinaitis distracts Punk long enough for Bryan to attack from behind. A brawl then breaks out before Punk sends Bryan from the ring. With Interim RAW General Manager John Laurinaitis, with legal counsel David Otunga by his side, and SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long, with assistant Santino Marella by his side, guests on commentary, the opening match finally got underway as WWE Champion CM Punk faced World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan, with A.J. in his corner, in a Champion vs. Champion match. During the match, David Otunga gets on the ring apron and CM Punk decks Otunga, but Otunga would get back on the apron and, this time, Santino Marella gets involved as Santino uses the Cobra on Otunga. Laurinaitis then pulls Santino off of the apron, sparking an argument between all four men. While all this is taking place, Daniel Bryan grabs his World Heavyweight Title and tries to leave the match, but Bryan’s WrestleMania opponent, Sheamus, comes from behind, throwing Bryan back into the ring. Punk then hits the GTS on Bryan, but Laurinaitis prevents the referee from counting the pinfall, instead calling for the bell to end the match. This leads to an argument between Punk and Laurinaitis before Theodore Long gets in the ring and shoves Laurinaitis on his ass! While the General Managers argue in the ring, CM Punk makes his exit, but Punk is ambushed from behind by Chris Jericho on the stage as Jericho slams Punk spine-first onto the steel stage before locking in the Walls of Jericho on the WWE Champion! Referees then come out and finally get Jericho to break the hold before Jericho grabs the WWE Title belt, holding it high. With just four weeks to go until their WWE Title match at WrestleMania, what is the condition of CM Punk’s back following Chris Jericho’s assault? The Divas were in action on RAW as Kelly Kelly went one-on-one with Nikki Bella, with Brie Bella in her corner. In the end, it was Kelly Kelly countering a roll-up by Nikki Bella en route to pinning Nikki to pick up the win. Four weeks before he goes one-on-one with The Rock in an epic match at WrestleMania, John Cena went one-on-one with his opponent from last year’s WrestleMania, The Miz. In the end, it was John Cena hitting the Attitude Adjustment on The Miz before locking in the STF, forcing Miz to tap out. Then it was time for a Triple Threat Tag Team Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship as Primo & Epico, with Rosa Mendes in their corner, defended the WWE Tag Team Titles against R-Truth & Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler & United States Champion Jack Swagger, with Vickie Guerrero in their corner. At the end of a chaotic match, it was Kofi Kingston hitting Trouble in Paradise on Jack Swagger followed by Primo hitting the Back Stabber on Swagger, as well. This allows Epico to pin Swagger en route to Primo & Epico successfully retaining the WWE Tag Team Titles. However, Primo & Epico would get no chance to celebrate as the one and only “Big Red Monster” Kane makes his way to the ring, laying Primo out with a big boot on his way in. Once in the ring, Kane gets a hold of Epico and Dolph Ziggler, delivering a thunderous double chokeslam to the two of them. R-Truth then tries his hand at battling “The Big Red Monster”, but Kane gets the better of Truth, drilling Truth with a chokeslam, as well! Backstage, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long confronts Interim RAW General Manager John Laurinaitis to tell Laurinaitis that he has heard a “rumor” that Laurinaitis will not be running RAW next week, but Laurinaitis responds by saying he heard a rumor that Long was fired as the SmackDown GM! Long then tells Laurinaitis that there is one fact, that Laurinaitis is a “horse’s ass”! After revealing last week that she used Zack Ryder before planning to use John Cena as well before an awkward moment in the ring where she broke down in tears and tried to force herself on Cena, Eve makes an appearance on RAW to explain herself. Eve states that she is a “woman living in a man’s world” and there is not a man in the world who would not want to be used by her. Eve continues that men “crumble” at her feet, begging for her affection, saying that she should not be blamed for her strengths and men should blame themselves for their “weaknesses”. Eve then exits the ring and is confronted backstage by former friend, Kelly Kelly, who asks what has happened to Eve, but Eve just laughs in Kelly Kelly’s face before leaving Kelly and Alicia Fox looking on in disgust. It was announced during RAW that, this Friday on SmackDown, “The Viper” Randy Orton returns to SmackDown to go one-on-one with the man who put him out of action with a concussion, costing him the chance to be the World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania, in World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan! What will happen when Randy Orton returns and seeks vengeance against Daniel Bryan? Before he competed in tag team action on RAW, Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes presented “Another Embarrassing Big Show WrestleMania Moment”, where Big Show was knocked out, with the aid of a pair of brass knuckles, by Floyd Mayweather at WrestleMania XXIV in 2008. Four weeks before he challenges Daniel Bryan for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania, 2012 Royal Rumble Winner “The Great White” Sheamus teamed with “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show to face “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry and Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes. Early on in the match, Big Show delivers a Spear to Mark Henry before turning his attention to Cody Rhodes, who quickly makes his exit. Sheamus then tags himself into the match, blasting Henry with the Brogue Kick en route to picking up the win. It was announced during RAW that, on next week’s RAW, WWE Hall of Famer “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels will appear on RAW. What will happen when Shawn Michaels appears next week? What will HBK have to say about the epic WrestleMania rematch between Triple H and The Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell? After the scathing comments made by John Cena last week, it was then time for “The Great One” to return to RAW as the one and only “People’s Champion” The Rock returned to RAW to address his WrestleMania opponent, John Cena. Rock admits that he is not on RAW every week, but he was for several years and, if weren’t for the WWE and its fans, The Rock would have never existed. Rock continues that he meant that he was never going away, which did not mean that he would be at every RAW and SmackDown. Rock then says that he is there because he loves the WWE and he will “always” be a part of the WWE and the WWE will always be a part of him. Rock says that he used to think that John Cena was a “phony”, but he realizes Cena is not a phony. Rock then reveals that, despite Cena’s claims, Cena’s got his cell phone number, but he does not want to talk to Cena, he would rather slap Cena across the face before calling Cena a “kung pow bitch”! Rock then says that, last week, Cena said that, at WrestleMania, he was going to fight for everyone who wants to be a professional wrestler. Rock continues that he was always taught that no one should fight for him, adding that, while Cena fights for them, he fights for the fans. The Rock then says that the fans are sick of having Cena shoved down their throats each and every night. Rock continues that he “lives to entertain” and every time he and the fans get together, they “trail blaze” and, when he came back, he referred to Cena as a “bowl of Fruity Pebbles”, leading to Cena being on a cereal box. The Rock then says that the most “innovative” thing that Cena has done all year was change the style of his shorts, adding that the camouflage look works because no one can find his “balls”. As the crowd chants “missing balls”, John Cena comes out to confront The Rock, saying that he is out there to tell The Rock he is only “half right” because he runs Rock down when he is there, as well. Cena says that he used to love The Rock too, but then he met Dwayne Johnson and Dwayne is a “self-centered, egotistical, see-through son of a bitch that wouldn’t give a rat’s ass if this company closes its doors tomorrow”. Cena then says that, at WrestleMania, he will come face-to-face with Dwayne Johnson and he will see a “man afraid” and Rock will be looking at a man who will “beat the hell” out of him come April 1. Cena then tells The Rock to “carry on” before exiting the ring. The Rock says that it is just like John Cena to leave before he gets the chance to slap him before saying that The Rock and Dwayne Johnson are the same man. The Rock then proclaims that he is going to kick Cena’s ass all over WrestleMania! What will happen between The Rock and John Cena in the next few weeks leading up to their epic match at WrestleMania? What did you think of this week’s RAW SuperShow?
