WWE Monday Night RAW SuperShow February 13, 2012 ResultsBy Cassidy| February 14, 2012 WWE Raw Ryder takes a ride. Six nights before WWE Elimination Chamber, the 978th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW SuperShow came to you, live, from the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, CA. With Triple H refusing to face The Undertaker in a rematch at WrestleMania, “The Game” would be confronted by a familiar friend as DX cohort and WWE Hall of Famer “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels returns to RAW! Match Results Chris Jericho def. Kofi Kingston by pin following the Codebreaker. Randy Orton def. Big Show by DQ after Daniel Bryan interferes. R-Truth def. Dolph Ziggler by roll-up. Tamina Snuka def. Brie Bella (with Nikki Bella) by pin following the Superfly Splash. Non-Title: CM Punk def. The Miz by submission to the Anaconda Vise. Detailed Results Six nights before he faces John Cena in an Ambulance Match, RAW kicks off with the demented face of Kane as “The Big Red Monster” assures everyone that he will do whatever it takes to get Cena to “embrace the hate” and, by the end of the night, someone will take a ride in an ambulance! WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler then hosts the first ever WWE Elimination Chamber Debate as WWE Champion CM Punk, R-Truth, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, Chris Jericho, & Kofi Kingston stand behind podiums awaiting questions from Lawler. The Hall of Famer first asks WWE Champion CM Punk what makes Punk think he can retain the title inside the Elimination Chamber, but before Punk can respond, the debate is interrupted by the, still, Interim General Manager of RAW, John Laurinaitis, who brings his legal counsel, David Otunga, out with him. The GM says how happy he is to be out there and, through a chorus of boos, Laurinaitis thanks the WWE Board of Directors for allowing him to stay the Interim General Manager. Laurinaitis and Otunga then make their exit as the debate is allowed to continue. Punk tells the fans that the debate will not end in violence before offering his “sincerest congratulations” to Laurinaitis before saying that he can tell by the worn out knees on Laurinaitis’ slacks that the GM must have been doing a lot of begging. The WWE Champion then answers the question, saying he can win the Elimination Chamber Match because he is the “best wrestler in the world”. After the screeching Vickie Guerrero demands that the fans be kept from booing, Dolph Ziggler offers his rebuttal, saying he is “better” than everyone in the ring before turning his attention to R-Truth, saying Truth does not even know what state they are in. R-Truth then says that is he is “elected”, then he will trade Dolph & Vickie to SmackDown in exchange for Hornswoggle and a “box of spiders”. Truth continues that he is going to smash the box of spiders and make “spider stew” before he and his running mate, “Little Jimmy”, will gulp down the spider stew and the power of spider stew will give him the power to survive the Elimination Chamber and leave as the WWE Champion. The Miz is the next to speak as Miz claims that he was the main event of last year’s WrestleMania and he is the reason last year’s event was an “astronomical success”. Miz then turns his attention to his opponents, calling Kofi Kingston an “afterthought”, R-Truth is “insane”, CM Punk is going to “crumble”, Dolph is entering the Chamber for the first time and he has only ever scored with an “old woman”. A buzzer then repeatedly sounds to bring an end to The Miz’s time to speak. Once Miz finally stops talking, Kofi says that he has been “overlooked”, but he may walk out of the Elimination Chamber as the WWE Champion. Chris Jericho then says that he is “surrounded by neophytes” before saying that there is no one who has been in more Elimination Chamber Matches than him and he has scored the most eliminations, adding that the last time he was in the Chamber, he walked out as the World Heavyweight Champion. Jericho then tells CM Punk that the “master has come to reclaim what is his” and Punk should just hand over the WWE Title to him. Punk says he wasn’t listening because he was thinking about when Jericho finished seventh on Dancing with the Stars. Jerry Lawler then brings an end to the debate before revealing that all six Chamber participants will be competing in individual matches as Chris Jericho will face Kofi Kingston, R-Truth will face Dolph Ziggler, and CM Punk will go one-on-one with The Miz. However, Jericho shoves his way past his opponent, Kofi Kingston, to confront CM Punk, but when Jericho turns around, he is met by Trouble in Paradise by Kofi! Six nights before they are two of the six participants in the Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Championship, the opening match of the night saw Chris Jericho go one-on-one with Kofi Kingston. During the match, Kofi Kingston hits the Trouble in Paradise on Chris Jericho, but Jericho gets his foot on the rope, preserving the match. Jericho then manages to get a thumb to the eye in on Kofi, allowing Jericho to hit the Codebreaker on Kofi en route to picking up the win. After earning the right to enter the match last, is Chris Jericho the favorite to win the WWE Championship inside the Elimination Chamber? After being spiked with the Tombstone Piledriver at the Royal Rumble two weeks ago, Zack Ryder appears backstage with John Cena. Complete with a wheel chair, back brace, and crutches, Ryder says that he is there to see Eve, but Cena reminds Ryder that Kane has vowed to destroy Ryder to get to Cena. Cena tells Ryder to stay where he is while he goes and gets Eve. Backstage, David Otunga tells Interim RAW General Manager John Laurinaitis that he has a plan to make sure that will not only make Laurinaitis the permanent General Manager of RAW, but the General Manager of SmackDown as well! What does David Otunga have planned? What will SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long have to say about this plan? After inciting a brawl between Randy Orton and Big Show to get out of his match with Orton on SmackDown, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan was at ringside as “The Viper” Randy Orton went one-on-one with “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show six nights before they are two of the six competitors in the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Championship. During the match, Randy Orton hits a massive RKO on Big Show, but before Orton could capitalize, Daniel Bryan rushes the ring, blasting Orton from behind with the World Heavyweight Title belt before smashing Show in the face with the gold as well! Then it was time for the return of an icon and a WWE Hall of Famer as the one and only “Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels returns to RAW! Michaels says that it cannot be WrestleMania season without “Mr. WrestleMania”, admitting that he is not “The Main Event” anymore, but he is “Mr. Hall of Fame”. HBK continues that, like everyone else, he was eagerly anticipating Triple H’s acceptance of The Undertaker’s challenge, but when Triple H denied the match, he had to return to RAW to talk to Triple H and prove that “The Game” is just messing with all of them as he fully intends to accept Undertaker’s challenge. Michaels then calls his friend to the ring as WWE COO Triple H makes his way to the ring, where he embraces the Hall of Famer. As “DX” chants ring throughout the arena, Triple H tells Michaels that it is “great” to see HBK. Triple H continues that it would be nice if everyone saw Michaels more than once a year. Michaels then tells Triple H that he and everyone else is there to hear Triple H accept Undertaker’s challenge, but Triple H says that he hates to disappoint Michaels, but he will not be facing The Undertaker at WrestleMania. HBK says that he “understands” that Triple H has to be the COO, but Triple H says that it is not his “suit” talking before saying that, last year, Undertaker won the “battle”, but he won the “war”. Triple H continues that he is not willing to “end” The Undertaker because he is “not that guy” anymore. Michaels argues that Triple H ends careers and steps on throats because that is what makes him who he is before asking Triple H is he “married that chick and became one of them”! Michaels elaborates, asking if Triple H became a “sellout”, but Triple H says that Michaels cannot understand. Michaels admits that he lives a “simple” ranch life in Texas, but he does understand that, when a man challenges him and he refuses, then that makes him a “coward”. Not wanting to argue with his longtime friend, Triple H tries to leave the ring, but Michaels stops him and tells Triple H that he can dress it up all he wants, but the fact remains that a “coward is a coward”! Triple H then starts to leave, but comes back and tells Shawn Michaels that he has “real life responsibilities” and the entire WWE will be his. Triple H continues that, for years, he looked at The Undertaker as an opponent, but now he sees Undertaker as a “brand” and he cannot let the brand end because it is “bad for business”. Triple H then tells Michaels that he, Michaels, and Undertaker are the “end of an era” because they left it all in the ring before saying that he is not going to be the one to end that era. Triple H continues that Michaels is retired and he is not going to end the era for “no reason” and he is not going to allow Michaels to “live vicariously” through him, trying to get him to do what Michaels could not do. Michaels says that is an “awesome speech” and says that he is sure that it works on a lot of people, but he is at “peace” at where he is at in life, but Triple H is not at peace. Michaels then dares Triple H to look him in the eye and tell him “no”. Triple H then looks at the WrestleMania sign before looking Michaels in the eye and telling him “no”! Clearly disappointed in his longtime friend, Michaels shoves his way past Triple H before leaving the arena. Triple H then starts to leave the ring, but is stopped by the gong of The Undertaker as Undertaker presents another video message. In an undisclosed location, The Undertaker reviews what Triple H has said over the past couple of weeks. Undertaker again says that it is “not over” before picking up a blade and cutting off his signature long hair, saying that he will get what he wants. Undertaker then tells Triple H to keep his “pity” and give him what is his, “immortality”! Six nights before they are two of the six competitors in the Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Championship, R-Truth went one-on-one with Dolph Ziggler, with Vickie Guerrero in his corner. During the match, Dolph Ziggler would stop to show off and do push-ups, but R-Truth would take advantage, rolling Dolph up to pick up the win. Will Dolph Ziggler’s showing off cost him inside the Elimination Chamber? Six nights before she challenges Beth Phoenix for the Divas Title at WWE Elimination Chamber, Tamina Snuka went one-on-one with Brie Bella, with Nikki Bella in her corner, with Divas Champion Beth Phoenix a guest on commentary. In the end, it was Tamina Snuka hitting the Superfly Splash on Brie Bella en route to picking up the win. Can the second-generation competitor, Tamina Snuka, unseat the dominant Beth Phoenix as the Divas Champion? Backstage, John Cena is set to be interviewed by Josh Mathews when Cena hears screaming in the distance. Meanwhile, Eve is shown being forced into the back of an ambulance by Kane, who shuts the doors before Cena arrives on the scene. Cena pummels Kane before imploring Eve to open the doors, but before Eve can do so, Kane fights back against Cena, allowing Kane enough time to hop in the driver’s seat of the ambulance. As Kane starts to drive the ambulance out of the arena, Eve leaps from the ambulance into the arms of John Cena moments before the two kiss! After the kiss, Cena and Eve look over and realize that Zack Ryder had seen the whole thing! Backstage, Eve catches up with Zack Ryder to try and explain herself as Eve says that she is sorry that Ryder saw her and John Cena. Eve continues that she really cares about Ryder and she wants them to be “friends”, which causes Ryder to angrily roll away in his wheelchair. Then it was time for the main event as, six nights before they are two of the six combatants in the Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Championship, WWE Champion CM Punk went one-on-one with The Miz in a non-title match. In the end, it was CM Punk locking in the Anaconda Vise, forcing The Miz to tap out to pick up the win. Can CM Punk do the same to his five challengers in the Elimination Chamber Match to retain the WWE Title? Six nights before going one-on-one with Kane in an Ambulance Match at WWE Elimination Chamber, John Cena appears in the ring on RAW. Cena states that he tried to apologize to Zack Ryder, but Ryder would not listen before publicly apologizing to Ryder. Cena then says that it was Kane’s plan all along to turn his friends and the fans against him, all in an attempt to get Cena to “embrace the hate”. Cena continues that it would have worked on anyone else, but he is not “anyone else”. As a small chant of “we all hate you” emanates from the crowd, Cena says that it is people like that who think that he is “soft”. Cena then says that he will continue on his path and he will defeat Kane in the Ambulance Match. Before Cena can continue, he spots the crippled Zack Ryder rolling out to the stage before he slowly makes his way to the ring on crutches. Ryder then leaves the crutches at ringside before entering the ring and slapping Cena across the face! Cena then looks ready to actually fight his injured former friend as Ryder shouts that Cena was never his friend before Ryder tries to hit Cena, but Cena blocks it, ready to strike back before realizing what he was about to do. Ryder then tells Cena to get away from him before making his exit from the ring and slowly walking up the ramp. Kane then appears on the Tron as Kane tells Cena that Cena stole the “one true love” of Ryder and that is more dastardly than anything he could ever dream of. Kane then says that Cena is truly beginning to “embrace the hate”, but he “feeds off hate” and Cena will not win at WWE Elimination Chamber as Cena’s body and soul will be leaving the arena in an ambulance. Cena is set to respond to the comments made by Kane when Kane strikes suddenly and without warning as “The Big Red Monster” appears behind Ryder on the stage moments before Kane pushes Ryder, wheelchair and all, off of the stage with the helpless Ryder colliding with the concrete floor below! Cena immediately finds an EMT as both of them rush to the scene and are quickly joined by more EMT’s, who bring a stretcher, as well as Eve, who kneels at Ryder’s side as the EMT’s load Ryder onto the stretcher. How will John Cena react to yet another heinous attack by Kane on Zack Ryder? What will happen when Cena gets his hands on Kane in an Ambulance Match this Sunday at WWE Elimination Chamber?
