WWE: The Miz Blamed for Low Survivor Series BuyrateBy Cassidy| February 4, 2012 Wrestling News The Survivor Series event in November scored 260,000 buys worldwide, compared to 244,000 buys for the event in 2010 and 235,000 buys in 2009 (which almost got the long-running event scrapped from the schedule). Considering that the 2011 event featured The Rock competing in a match for the first time in seven years where he teamed with WrestleMania opponent John Cena to face The Miz & R-Truth, this is considered a disappointing number for the WWE. The blame for this low buyrate is, reportedly, being blamed solely on former WWE Champion The Miz. Originally, the plan was to put Miz back in the WWE Title picture in January, but this did not happen and Miz has not actually won a televised match since December 5. However, things may be turning around for The Miz as he lasted 45 minutes in the Royal Rumble Match is a part of the Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Championship. As it stands, it is not known why the WWE is blaming The Miz. What do you think of The Miz getting blamed for the low Survivor Series buyrate? Post your comments in the box below.
