WWE: More Details About This Year’s WWE Tribute To The TroopsBy Cassidy| December 2, 2011 Wrestling News More details have been revealed about this year’s WWE Tribute to the Troops as a plethora of celebrities have been confirmed for the yearly tribute. In addition to in-ring competition from the Superstars and Divas of the WWE, the special will also feature performances from multi-platinum band Nickelback, Grammy Award-winning singer Mary J. Blige, and legendary comedian George Wallace. In addition, the show will feature taped greetings from Nicole Kidman, Hugh Jackman, The Muppets, Matthew McConaughey, Bradley Cooper, & Robin Williams. “Miss USA” Alyssa Campanella will also appear and Extra’s Maria Menounos will also take part in a Divas Match on the special. While the Tribute To The Troops will be staying in the United States, WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon, The Bella Twins, and WWE Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston will be making a trip to Afghanistan to visit the troops over there. The ninth annual WWE Tribute To The Troops will come to you from the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, NC. The two-hour version of the special will air on Tuesday, December 13 at 8/7c on the USA Network and the one-hour version will air on Saturday, December 17 at 9/8c on NBC.
