Detailed Results One week after being slapped in the face by Hall of Famer Roddy Piper during Piper’s Pit, the RAW SuperShow kicks off with John Cena. Cena recalls last week’s RAW, thanking Roddy Piper and the fans for telling him what they think of him. Cena continues that each and every one of the fans has earned the right to voice their opinions of him, either good or bad. Cena then changes gears, recalling CM Punk’s successful retention of the WWE Title against Alberto Del Rio last week before saying that Punk needs a new #1 Contender and the only thing that could make The Rock vs. John Cena at WrestleMania bigger is The Rock vs. John Cena at WrestleMania for the WWE Title. This brings out former WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio, who tells John Cena that the title match is for him, but Cena reminds Del Rio that Del Rio had his rematch last week and he lost. Del Rio says that, last week, Interim RAW General Manager John Laurinaitis added the stipulation to the title match that, if CM Punk got himself intentionally disqualified, then Punk would lose the WWE Title. Cena reminds Del Rio that Punk did not get intentionally disqualified, but Del Rio shows Cena footage of the end of the WWE Title match last week where Punk uses the exposed turnbuckle (which was exposed by Del Rio) in a modified GTS en route to Punk’s successful title defense. Del Rio then says that Punk “cheated”, accusing Punk of doing it on purpose, adding that he should be the new WWE Champion. Alberto Del Rio is then interrupted by the shrill voice of Vickie Guerrero and Vickie, with one of her clients, United States Champion Dolph Ziggler, in tow. The two enter the ring as Vickie proclaims that Dolph is the only one who deserves a WWE Title match. Dolph then asks Cena and Del Rio which one of them defeated Randy Orton last week, is the longest reigning champion in the WWE, and has the most-entertaining matches. Cena then guesses it is Dolph before saying that Dolph dropped the whole “Dolph thing”, guessing that Dolph is going with “The Caddy”, “The Cheerleader”, or “Mitch Chumpstein” before remembering is now going with the moniker of “The Show-Off”. Cena then recommends that Dolph take out “show” and insert the word, “jerk”. Dolph argues that he backs up his moniker every time he competes, but Cena retorts that Dolph supposedly backs it up, but refuses to face the one man who deserves a shot at the United States Title, Zack Ryder. After taking out R-Truth two weeks ago and taking out the now released John Morrison last week, the next interruption sees The Miz make his way to the ring. Miz reminds them all that he beat John Cena in the main event of WrestleMania, had a WWE Title reign that lasted longer than a month, and does not need Vickie Guerrero to ensure that he gets a reaction. Miz continues that they are looking at the man who took out both R-Truth and John Morrison and the man who will be the 2011 Superstar of the Year, adding that he will be the next WWE Champion and he deserves the title match. However, The Miz is interrupted by the arrival of Interim RAW General Manager John Laurinaitis, who says that he has been accused of lacking in the creative department by CM Punk. The GM continues that he is going to shatter that perception before announcing that every Superstar in the ring will face a Superstar from SmackDown and, if they win their match, then they will be put into the WWE Title match in thirteen nights at WWE TLC. Laurinaitis then adds that there will be a live contract signing for the title match later on in the night. The GM then informs John Cena that Cena will not be taking part in the series of matches, but will compete in what Laurinaitis is calling a “social experiment. Laurinaitis then informs Miz that Miz’s match is first and he will be facing none other than “The Viper” Randy Orton. With a spot in the WWE Title match at WWE TLC on the line, The Miz went one-on-one with “The Apex Predator” Randy Orton in the opening match of the night. During the match, the action spills to the outside where Wade Barrett comes out, luring Orton away from the ring long enough for the referee to reach a ten count, allowing The Miz to win the match by count-out and earn his spot in the WWE Title match at WWE TLC. After the match, Randy Orton made his way back to the ring, but was laid out from behind by Wade Barrett on his way back. Backstage, Interim RAW General Manager John Laurinaitis informs John Cena of Laurinaitis’ “social experiment” which will see Cena going one-on-one with Zack Ryder. Cena expresses his reluctance to take part in the match, but Laurinaitis claims that the fans want to see it. Laurinaitis then adds that if Ryder wins, then Ryder will get his long-awaited shot at the United States Title, but if Cena wins, then Cena will be entered into the WWE Title match at WWE TLC. Also backstage, David Otunga informs Kevin Nash that, at WWE TLC, Nash will go one-on-one with the returning Triple H in a Ladder Match! Nash tells Otunga that he does not do Ladder Matches, but Otunga reveals that there will be a sledgehammer hanging above the ring for them to retrieve and, whoever climbs the ladder to retrieve it, then they can use it without worrying about the ramifications and this convinces Nash to agree to the match. Otunga also informs the dangerous seven-footer that Nash will be in action on RAW, but when Otunga tries to tell Nash who his opponent will be, Nash does not seem the least bit concerned. When Nash competes on RAW for the first time in eight years, who will face Nash? What will happen in two weeks when Triple H returns to action to face Kevin Nash in a Ladder Match with a sledgehammer hanging above the ring at WWE TLC? After The Miz earned his way into the WWE Title match at WWE TLC, “The Mexican Aristocrat” would try to earn his spot in the match as Alberto Del Rio went one-on-one with “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Daniel Bryan, who has taped-up ribs following the World’s Strongest Slam off of the top rope by Mark Henry on last week’s SmackDown. In the end, it was Alberto Del Rio forcing Daniel Bryan to tap out to the cross armbreaker to earn his way into the WWE Title match at WWE TLC, joining The Miz and champion CM Punk. Behold the power will come vengeance to render his anger with fury. The deception the weak have perpetrated will be castigated. The second day of 2012, the prophet will emerge and destroy the weak. It will be the end of the world as you know it. Look within. The Divas were in action on RAW as Kelly Kelly & Eve, with Alicia Fox in their corner, faced Divas Champion Beth Phoenix & Natalya. In the end, it was Kelly Kelly catching Beth Phoenix with a roll-up to pick up the win for herself and Eve. Then it was time for John Laurinaitis’ “social experiment” as John Cena went one-on-one with “The Long Island Iced Z” Zack Ryder with the stipulation that, if Cena wins, then he will earn a spot in the WWE Title match at WWE TLC, but if Ryder wins, then he will get his long-awaited shot at the United States Title. In the end, it was Zack Ryder going for the Rough Ryder Leg Lariat, but John Cena counters, hitting the Attitude Adjustment on Ryder en route to picking up the win and earning his way into the WWE Title match at WWE TLC. After the match, Zack Ryder tells John Cena that it was his only shot, but Cena quickly leaves the ring, marching backstage with a purpose. With Dolph Ziggler still looking to earn his spot in the WWE Title match, CM Punk is already looking at defending his WWE Title in a Fatal 4-Way Match at WWE TLC, but will the United States Champion get himself added to the already packed match? Next week’s RAW SuperShow will be a three-hour special as the WWE presents the annual WWE Slammy Awards. Who will be voted the 2011 WWE Superstar of the Year? Will it be WWE Champion CM Punk, World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry, John Cena, Randy Orton, The Miz, or Alberto Del Rio? What other Slammy Awards will be handed out next week at the 2011 Slammy Awards? Backstage, John Cena confronts Interim RAW General Manager John Laurinaitis to try and get Zack Ryder his United States Title match against Dolph Ziggler. However, the GM says that Ryder will get another opportunity, but only if Cena gives up his WWE Title opportunity! Cena contemplates the decision before deciding that he is a ten-time former WWE Champion and he will get other opportunities, so Cena reluctantly agrees to give up his WWE Title shot so that Zack Ryder can get another opportunity to earn a United States Title shot! After John Cena gave up his WWE Title shot so that Zack Ryder could get another chance to earn a United States Title match, “The Long Island Iced Z” Zack Ryder went one-on-one with World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry, with the added stipulation that there will be no count-outs and no disqualifications. During the match, John Cena comes out and takes advantage of the stipulations for the match, delivering the Attitude Adjustment to Mark Henry before pulling Zack Ryder over the World Heavyweight Champion, allowing Ryder to become the new #1 Contender for the United States Title! Backstage, Vickie Guerrero emerges from the office of John Laurinaitis with the bad news for Dolph Ziggler that Laurinaitis will not reverse the decision, meaning that Zack Ryder is still the #1 Contender for the United States Title. Vickie tries to save face by saying she found out who Dolph will face, revealing that it is “The Great White” Sheamus. Dolph then refuses to allow Jack Swagger to be in his corner. Can Dolph Ziggler defeat Sheamus in a one-on-one match to earn a spot in the WWE Title match at WWE TLC? Two weeks before he faces the returning Triple H in a Ladder Match with a sledgehammer hanging above the ring at WWE TLC, Kevin Nash would compete on RAW for the first time in eight years as Nash goes one-on-one with the man he laid out last month, Santino Marella. In the end, it was Kevin Nash picking up an easy win, planting Santino with the Jackknife Powerbomb en route to emerging victorious. After the match, Kevin Nash grabs the sledgehammer from ringside, intimidating Santino with it. What will happen when Kevin Nash faces Triple H in a Ladder Match at WWE TLC? Then it was time for Dolph Ziggler to try and earn a spot in the WWE Title match at WWE TLC as the United States Champion, with Vickie Guerrero in his corner, went one-on-one with “The Great White” Sheamus. During the match, Zack Ryder comes out, distracting Dolph Ziggler long enough for Sheamus to capitalize, hitting the Brogue Kick on the United States Champion en route to picking up the win and dashing the WWE Title aspirations of Dolph Ziggler. After the match, Ryder adds insult to injury, hitting the Rough Ryder Leg Lariat on Dolph. After it became official that CM Punk will defend the WWE Title against The Miz and Alberto Del Rio in a Triple Threat Match at WWE TLC, it was time for the Contract Signing for the match. With challengers The Miz and Alberto Del Rio in the ring, Interim RAW General Manager John Laurinaitis makes his way to the ring for the Contract Signing, but first announcing that next week’s RAW will see John Cena going one-on-one with World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry. The GM then introduces WWE Champion CM Punk, who makes his way to the ring to face his two challengers. After entering the ring, CM Punk moves the table and his chair off to the side of the ring before explaining that the contract signing is one of the WWE’s biggest “clichés”, adding that contract signings always end in a “pier 6 brawl”. Punk continues that there hasn’t been a peaceful contract signing since WrestleMania III before recommending that they all just sign the contract and get to the fighting. Laurinaitis disputes that he is “Mr. Excitement” before announcing that, for the first time ever, the WWE Title will be defended in a Triple Threat TLC Match! The Miz then jumps in, reminding CM Punk that he took R-Truth and John Morrison out. The WWE Champion asks if Miz means that he took them out on a date before saying that, given the way The Miz is dressed, as well as his fauxhawk and “pre-madonna attitude” that Miz took them to see the new Twilight movie. CM Punk continues that, while The Miz is begging from attention from TMZ and attending Red Carpet events, he is more concerned with being the best wrestler in the world. Alberto Del Rio disputes that he is the best in the world before vowing that he will end 2011 as the WWE Champion, but Punk cuts Del Rio off, saying that, if Del Rio is going to say that it is his “destiny” to be champion again, then he is going to start “drinking”. The Miz then jumps in, saying that CM Punk will not walk out of WWE TLC as the WWE Champion. The Miz then signs the contract, followed by Alberto Del Rio, and, finally, CM Punk signs, asking if they can start fighting, but Laurinaitis says there will be no fighting. Laurinaitis then brings a photographer to the ring apron so that they can stand together for a picture! Punk then states that, if you want to do something right, you have to do it yourself. With that, Punk hits The Miz in the head with a microphone before pummeling Alberto Del Rio. However, Ricardo Rodriguez tries to attack Punk from behind, allowing Del Rio to take advantage, knocking Punk down and throwing the chairs out of the ring. Del Rio then sets the table up to put Punk through, but Miz comes in, trying to hit the Skull Crushing Finale on Del Rio, but Punk takes advantage, driving Del Rio through the table with a bulldog and laying Miz out with the GTS! When tables, ladders, and chairs are legal in the Triple Threat TLC Match at WWE TLC, who will be able to walk out of the arena as the WWE Champion? What did you think of this week’s RAW SuperShow?
