WWE: SmackDown Main Eventer Injured at TapingsBy Cassidy| December 28, 2011 Wrestling News During a Falls Count Anywhere Match against Wade Barrett at Tuesday’s SmackDown tapings, former World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton was injured, reports WWE.com. The site also reveals that Orton will be replaced by Sheamus in Street Fights against Wade Barrett for the Live Events this coming week. WWE.com did not go into detail on what kind of injury Orton sustained, but they promise an update on his condition, which may possibly be posted after this Friday’s SmackDown. This is the second main event Superstar to go down with an injury in the last couple of weeks as Alberto Del Rio suffered a severe groin injury on last Monday’s RAW that will keep him out of action for four to six weeks.
