WWE: Backstage Reaction to R-Truth’s Delayed SuspensionBy Cassidy| November 23, 2011 Wrestling News The general backstage feeling at Tuesday’s SmackDown tapings was that a lot of talent were rolling their eyes in regards to the delayed suspension of RAW Superstar R-Truth. Many people feel that it is ridiculous how R-Truth was treated in contrast to how Evan Bourne was treated. While WWE Tag Team Champion Evan Bourne was suspended on the spot on November 1 after testing positive for the synthetic marijuana substitute called “Spice”, R-Truth’s (who failed a drug test on the same day) suspension was held off until Tuesday morning so that R-Truth could take part in the main event of Survivor Series where he teamed with The Miz to face The Rock & John Cena. Not only did the WWE allow Truth to take part in Survivor Series, they allowed Truth to appear on Monday’s RAW SuperShow, essentially suspending R-Truth when it was convenient for both of them. Those backstage strongly disagree with the double standard when it comes to violators of the WWE Wellness Policy.
