Detailed Results SmackDown kicks off in an abrupt and brutal way as World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry is shown choking “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Daniel Bryan in the backstage area as a group of Divas plead with Henry to stop! Henry then repeatedly slams Bryan’s head into an anvil case before the World Heavyweight Champion takes Bryan out into the arena and to ringside, where Henry delivers a headbutt to Bryan. Henry then tosses “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” into the ring where Bryan attempts to fight back, but Henry overpowers Bryan before delivering a big splash. Henry then follows this up with the World’s Strongest Slam in the center of the ring and, as referees plead with the World Heavyweight Champion to stop the assault, Henry hits a second World’s Strongest Slam on Daniel Bryan. Mark Henry then states that Daniel Bryan is in “pain” and there will be more pain where that came from and, while Big Show “felt the pain”, Show is looking for more. Henry then vows that, at Survivor Series, one of them will be “carried out” and it will not be him because he will leave Madison Square Garden as the World Heavyweight Champion. Will Mark Henry indeed walk out of Survivor Series as the World Heavyweight Champion? How will Big Show respond to this clear cut message from Mark Henry? Two nights before they are on opposing teams in a Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match, “The International Sensation” Sin Cara went one-on-one with United States Champion Dolph Ziggler, with Vickie Guerrero in his corner, two nights before Dolph will have to compete twice on one night as he will also be defending the United States Title against John Morrison at Survivor Series. In the end, it was Dolph Ziggler rolling Sin Cara up and hooking the tights en route to picking up the win. After the match, Dolph Ziggler would confront Sin Cara, shoving the high-flyer and Sin Cara responds by hitting a tilt-a-whirl headscissors. However, Vickie Guerrero calls for her other client, Jack Swagger, who rushes out to beat down Sin Cara before Swagger and Dolph hit a unique double-team Famouser. The powerhouse Mason Ryan then rushes to the ring and, as Swagger makes a hasty retreat, Ryan sends Dolph Ziggler airborne with the United States Champion slamming sternum-first on the mat. After narrowly avoiding a confrontation with the powerhouse, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long would make an impromptu match pitting “The All-American American” Jack Swagger, with Vickie Guerrero in his corner, against the powerhouse Mason Ryan. In the end, it was Mason Ryan hitting the full nelson slam on Jack Swagger en route to picking up the win. In his first Survivor Series, how dominant will Mason Ryan be in the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match? Backstage, Big Show arrives in the arena and is informed by Zack Ryder about the assault by Mark Henry to Daniel Bryan earlier in the night. The mood of Big Show immediately changes as Show begins his search for the World Heavyweight Champion. After it was revealed that he will be unable to compete at Survivor Series due to a severe high ankle sprain, Christian, using a crutch to walk and still wearing the neckbrace from a chokeslam by Big Show two weeks ago, appears on SmackDown. Christian states that, despite his injuries, Theodore Long put him in a match against Sheamus last week and also faced Sheamus several times during the European tour, which is where he injured his ankle. The former World Heavyweight Champion continues that he will be out of action for a couple of months and, while unable to compete for Team Barrett at Survivor Series, he will continue to support and inspire the team from the sidelines. Christian continues that he would normally be out there asking for “one more match” for the World Heavyweight Title, but he just wants one more of any match. Christian then asks the fans if they care that he is injured with the fans shouting “no” as Christian continues that there will be “severe consequences” for Theodore Long over his injuries. Christian then says that he is “ashamed” of the fans, adding that he is “through” with them. Backstage in the trainer’s room, A.J. is with an injured Daniel Bryan when Big Show enters, blaming himself for what happened to Bryan. Big Show then tells Bryan that he needs to find Mark Henry. After picking up wins the last two weeks, Ted DiBiase went one-on-one with NXT Redemption Rookie Derrick Bateman, with his fiancée Maxine in his corner. In the end, it was Ted DiBiase hitting Dream Street on Derrick Bateman en route to picking up the win. Backstage, Big Show kicks down a door looking for Mark Henry, but does not find the World Heavyweight Champion. Big Show then confronts Tyson Kidd and Jinder Mahal as Kidd informs Big Show that Henry has left the arena. Jinder then tells Big Show something in Punjabi, refusing to repeat it in English for Big Show. Show responds by blasting Mahal with the W.M.D. as Kidd backs away from the angry giant. Two nights before he challenges Mark Henry for the World Heavyweight Title at Survivor Series, “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show appears on SmackDown. Big Show says that it is too bad that Mark Henry is not in the arena, because they could have had their Survivor Series match early. Show continues that he will have to work on his anger against Mark Henry before this Sunday because he could find himself getting disqualified, adding that the he and the fans want to see him beat Henry and win the World Heavyweight Title. Show then says that, after all of the atrocities that Mark Henry has committed, Mark Henry will be the one carted out of Survivor Series without the World Heavyweight Title! Can Big Show make good on his promise this Sunday at Survivor Series and take the World Heavyweight Title from Mark Henry? Two nights before he is part of Team Orton in the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match, WWE Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston goes one-on-one with a member of Team Barrett in Hunico. In the end, it was Hunico complaining to the referee that allowed Kofi Kingston to hit the S.O.S. on Hunico en route to picking up the win. Two nights before Beth Phoenix defends the Divas Title against Eve in a Lumberjill Match at Survivor Series, “The Glamazon” would team with Natalya to face A.J. & Kaitlyn. In the end, it was Natalya forcing A.J. to tap out to a modified version of the Sharpshooter en route to picking up the win for herself and Beth Phoenix. Then it was time for the main event as, two nights before they captain their respective teams in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match, the captain of Team Orton, Randy Orton, teamed with Survivor Series teammate, Sheamus, to face the team captain of Team Barrett, Wade Barrett, and his Survivor Series teammate, Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes. During the match, the former member of Team Barrett, Christian, makes his way to ringside. Later on in the match, Christian would stick his crutch in front of Sheamus before jabbing Sheamus in the throat with it, prompting the disqualification. Meanwhile, Wade Barrett sends Randy Orton into the ringside barricade before Barrett and Cody Rhodes stomp away at Sheamus in the ring. Christian then hands a crutch to Barrett, who hands it to Rhodes, but Sheamus bursts out of the corner with the Brogue Kick to the Intercontinental Champion. Sheamus then uses the crutch as a weapon against Barrett, breaking the crutch over the back of Barrett before Orton plants Barrett with the RKO. Sheamus follows this up with the Celtic Cross to Cody Rhodes, leaving Orton and Sheamus standing tall in the ring.
