Match Results Non-Title: Alberto Del Rio def. Sin Cara by submission to the cross armbreaker. Non-Title: Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger def. Jinder Mahal by submission to the Torture Rack. Randy Orton & Sheamus def. Christian & Cody Rhodes by Randy Orton pinning Cody Rhodes following the RKO. Detailed Results After every Superstar, Diva, referee, commentator, and cameraman voted no confidence in WWE COO Triple H before walking out on their boss on the RAW SuperShow, SmackDown kicks off with SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long. The GM reveals to his assistant, Zack Ryder, that Triple H has left him in complete charge of SmackDown, adding that RAW’s loss is SmackDown’s gain. With Christian, Wade Barrett, Jack Swagger, David Otunga, Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes, and United States Champion Dolph Ziggler standing with her in the ring, Vickie Guerrero welcomes everyone to the one year anniversary of SmackDown on Syfy. Christian then states that the whole walkout occurrence took place because he had the “courage” to stand up to Triple H and take issue with how the COO was running things. Christian continues that his actions have inspired the uprising that took place on RAW. United States Champion Dolph Ziggler then states that the walkout was made possible because they all worked together to challenge Triple H’s “ineffective leadership skills”, leading the way for the rest of the roster to walk out. Dolph then turns things over to the group’s “legal counsel”, David Otunga, as Otunga states that Triple H provided them with an “unsafe working environment”, adding that they had no choice but to walk out until Triple H stops running the day-to-day operations of the WWE. Otunga continues that, if Triple H does not step down as the COO this coming Monday night on RAW, then they will have no choice but to walk out on SmackDown, as well as live events and pay-per-views. Wade Barrett then states that Triple H needs to look in the mirror and realize that all of the chaos on RAW is his own fault and he needs to relinquish control. Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes then says that, for weeks, they have endured Triple H’s reign, who is a “lacking leader”, prompting a united front and they could not have done it without “one man”. Jack Swagger then tells everyone to “show some respect” to the man who made it all possible, WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio. The WWE Champion then makes his way to the ring as Del Rio states that, despite Triple H’s “games”, he survived Hell in a Cell to become the WWE Champion. Del Rio continues that they are “never” going back to RAW until Triple H steps down as the COO! SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long then comes out, saying that the fans will be the next ones to walk out if they have listen to the group of them “blab” all night. The GM then informs Christian and Cody Rhodes that they need to be getting ready for their main event match against Sheamus and Randy Orton before informing Alberto Del Rio that the WWE Champion will be in action next against Del Rio’s requested opponent, Sin Cara. The opening match of the night saw the WWE Champion in action as Alberto Del Rio went one-on-one with “The Masked Sensation” Sin Cara in a non-title match. In the end, it was Alberto Del Rio locking in the cross armbreaker on Sin Cara, forcing “The Masked Sensation” to tap out. After the match, the music of Sin Cara Negro sounds as “The Dark Doppelganger” picks up the pieces of Sin Cara Azul, assaulting and laying out the original. How will Sin Cara Azul respond to this attack? After participating in the walkout on RAW, WWE Tag Team Champions Air Boom was set for action on SmackDown, but Evan Bourne & Kofi Kingston were blind-sided by their opponents, United States Champion Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger, as the Vickie Guerrero led duo dismantle the WWE Tag Team Champions before Dolph plants Evan Bourne with the Zig Zag on the arena floor! With his tag team partner and fellow WWE Tag Team Champion Evan Bourne receiving medical attention at ringside after the pre-match attack, WWE Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston would go it alone against the tag team champions’ assailants, United States Champion Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger. Despite suffering the effects from the Zig Zag by Dolph Ziggler before the match, Evan Bourne joins the match, but it ultimately costs the WWE Tag Team Champions the match as the injured neck of Bourne leaves Bourne vulnerable to the Swagger Bomb by Jack Swagger, who picks up the win for himself and Dolph. After participating in the walkout on RAW, Divas Champion Beth Phoenix, with Natalya in her corner, went one-on-one with Alicia Fox in a non-title match. In the end, it was Beth Phoenix using the Glam Slam to make quick work of Alicia Fox. After the match, Natalya would lock in the new submission maneuver of the duo as Phoenix put the microphone to Fox for everyone to hear her scream in pain. After nearly four months out of action thanks to Mark Henry breaking his ankle back at WWE Money-in-the-Bank, “The World’s Largest Athlete” returned to SmackDown as Big Show looked for revenge against the, now, World Heavyweight Champion! After seeing the footage from four months ago, an emotional Big Show admits that he was “humbled” by Mark Henry as Henry ripped Show’s heart from his chest. Show continues that he could not do the simplest of things, like putting on his shoes or playing with his dogs, all things he took for “granted”. Show then states that he can handle the “physical pain”, but the “emotional pain” kept him up at night, adding that he used that pain to get better and stronger. Show continues that Mark Henry has momentum, but Henry’s momentum is a “downhill roll” and he will be waiting at the bottom of the hill to stop Mark Henry, adding that he will use his deadly right hand to pummel the World Heavyweight Champion until Henry’s face is “unrecognizable”! Big Show then vows that he will take from Mark Henry, what “validates” Henry’s entire career as he will take the World Heavyweight Championship. Big Show continues that he will settle for nothing less than facing Mark Henry one-on-one for the World Heavyweight Title. Show then calls Mark Henry to the ring, telling the champion to do the right thing and give him the opportunity to challenge him for the World Heavyweight Title. World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry answers the call as “The World’s Strongest Champion” informs Big Show that a lot has happened during Show’s four-month absence as he has taken out Kane, ended the career of Vladimir Kozlov, and put Jerry “The King” Lawler through the announce table, adding that the Hall of Pain is getting “crowded”. Henry continues that, more importantly than that, he defeated Randy Orton to become the World Heavyweight Champion before asking Big Show what he has done to earn a title shot. Mark Henry then tells Big Show that he will tell Show “if and when” he will grant Show a title shot and that will come on his time. Not satisfied with the World Heavyweight Champion’s response, Big Show threatens Mark Henry, telling Henry that, if he does not hear from the champion by the end of the night, then he will put Henry through the announce table and he will break Henry’s ankle! Will Mark Henry have an answer for Big Show by night’s end or will the World Heavyweight Champion face the consequences? Ezekiel Jackson was in action on SmackDown as the former Intercontinental Champion went one-on-one with Jinder Mahal. In the end, it was Ezekiel Jackson putting Jinder Mahal in the Torture Rack, forcing Jinder to submit. Then it was time for the main event as “The Viper” Randy Orton teams with “The Great White” Sheamus to face “Mr. One More Match” Christian and Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes. In the end, it was Randy Orton planting Cody Rhodes with the RKO en route to picking up the win for himself and Sheamus. After being threatened by Big Show to grant him a World Heavyweight Title match or else, World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry would answer the demands of Big Show. Mark Henry states that he fears no man before denying Big Show’s demands for a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. This brings out an angry Big Show as “The World’s Largest Athlete” storms to the ring, attacking the World Heavyweight Champion. Despite a herd of security, Big Show would break free, tackling Mark Henry. As security once again tries to corral Big Show, Show turns his attention to the security as “The World’s Largest Athlete” lays out the security with headbutts, chokeslams, and vicious right hands. However, Big Show’s assault on the security allows Mark Henry the chance to escape. After Mark Henry once again denies Big Show a World Heavyweight Title shot, Big Show leaves the ring, attacking Mark Henry on the ramp, but as the two behemoths brawl at ringside, Mark Henry gets the advantage, hurling Show into the ringside barricade. The World Heavyweight Champion then dismantles the announce table with the intent of driving Big Show through it, but Big Show fights back before delivering a chokeslam to Mark Henry right through the announce table! Big Show then grabs a steel chair, looking to make good on his threat to break the ankle of Mark Henry, but before Big Show can do so, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long rushes out, telling Big Show that he will get his match for the World Heavyweight Title, but not if he breaks Henry’s ankle. After initially walking away, Big Show came back, delivering a chair shot to the back of “The World’s Strongest Champion”! Big Show has proven that he is more than capable of dealing with Mark Henry, but when will Big Show get his one-on-one shot at Mark Henry and the World Heavyweight Championship?
