Tyson Tomko Released from Jail and Heading to RehabBy Cassidy| October 21, 2011 Wrestling News Following his arrest over a week ago for robbing a CVS Pharmacy of its Oxycodone on October 10, former WWE and TNA wrestler Tyson Tomko (Travis Tomko) has posted his $7,500 bail and been released from jail. Tomko now plans to enter rehab for his drug addiction; a rehab that the WWE is paying for. James McClune of McClune Law states that “Mr. Tomko realizes he is struggling with an addiction and, with the support of his family and the WWE, he is voluntarily checking himself into an undisclosed treatment facility to receive the help he needs for a successful recovery. Mr. Tomko wishes to put this incident behind him and lead a healthy and productive life. He and his family ask for privacy during these difficult times.” The St. Augustine Record newspaper mentioned that “six percent of former WWE talent have gotten help through the Wellness program since it began in 2007.” Former talents who have checked into rehab on WWE’s dime include Sean “X-Pac” Waltman, Scott Hall, and, most recently, Matt Hardy.
