WWE Spoilers: Two Legitimate Injuries from This Week’s RAWBy Cassidy| September 22, 2011 Wrestling News On this past Monday night’s RAW SuperShow, two RAW Superstars were legitimately injured in their planned spots on the show. The first injury occurred during the match between Zack Ryder and United States Champion Dolph Ziggler as the Guest Star of RAW, Hugh Jackman, delivered a real right hand to the jaw of the United States Champion, which resulted in Dolph Ziggler suffering a hairline fracture in his jaw. Dolph revealed on his Twitter account that he will be wearing mouth protection to avoid missing any ring time. The second injury occurred during a planned spot with World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry and RAW commentator and Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler. The spot called for Mark Henry to deliver the World’s Strongest Slam to Jerry Lawler through the announce table, but the ring crew did not set up the typical break-away table, leading to an awkward landing for Lawler; a result that neither Henry nor Lawler anticipated. Naturally, it is assumed that Lawler’s back was injured during the spot, but the extent of the injury is currently unknown and it is also unknown if “The King” will be able to do his announcing duties.
