WWE Spoilers: Two Superstars Injured at Money-in-the-BankBy Cassidy| July 18, 2011 Wrestling News WWE.com is reporting that, at last night’s Money-in-the-Bank pay-per-view, RAW Superstar Big Show and SmackDown Superstar Sin Cara were injured. Big Show’s injury took place after his match with Mark Henry as Henry wrapped a steel chair around Big Show’s ankle before dropping all 400+ lbs. on the ankle. The site is reporting a “distal fracture of the fibula” (a cracked ankle bone) and an expected return time of “four to six weeks”. At this time, it is assumed that Big Show’s injury is all in storyline and “The World’s Largest Athlete” will be taking the next month off to sell the injury. Sin Cara’s injury took place during the SmackDown Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match where Sheamus sent Cara through a ladder with a powerbomb, leaving Sin Cara convulsing on the arena floor. WWE.com is reporting that Sin Cara suffered a “posterior fractured rib”, leaving the high flyer out of action for “four weeks”. Unlike Big Show’s injury, it’s likely that Sin Cara’s injury is legitimate. Either way, it is expected to set up an angle between Sheamus and Sin Cara. Though it appeared like The Miz was injured during the RAW Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match where he appeared to hyper-extend his knee after falling off a ladder, no reports of a lasting injury have surfaced.
