WWE WrestleMania: My Favourite MatchBy Cassidy| April 3, 2011 WWE WrestleMania Twenty-six years of WrestleMania and countless epic moments in those near three decades of big time matches. You got Hulk Hogan slamming Andre The Giant at WrestleMania III, The Ultimate Warrior defeating Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VI, the highly controversial main event of WrestleMania VII between Hulk Hogan and the Iraqi sympathizing Sgt. Slaughter, the Ladder Match between Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon at WrestleMania X, Shawn Michaels beating Bret Hart at WrestleMania XII, Mike Tyson’s involvement in WrestleMania XIV, Shawn Michaels retiring Ric Flair at WrestleMania XXIV, etc. Steve Austin vs Bret Hart – WrestleMania 13 For me, personally, the one WrestleMania moment I will never forget would be from WrestleMania 13 where Bret Hart faced Stone Cold Steve Austin in a Submission Match. To me, this match defined an era (and a Hall of Fame career) for the WWF at that time and I will never forget Steve Austin, with blood streaming down his face, locked in the Sharpshooter and never, ever tapping out, but being deemed unable to continue after passing out from the pain. It’s easy to forget that this match did not even go on as the main event as it was followed by a Chicago Street Fight and The Undertaker Vs. Sycho Sid for the WWF Title! There are a lot of great WrestleMania moments, but this is one I will never forget and it will always be etched in my mind. With WrestleMania 27 mere hours away, I look forward to what this year’s event will hold. From Triple H Vs. The Undertaker to Edge Vs. Alberto Del Rio and beyond, this year’s WrestleMania card is shaping up to make one of the most memorable WrestleMania events in history. I know I will be watching tonight and I hope all of you will be too.
