Ted DiBiase Friday Night SmackDown Mixed Tag Match: If Vickie Guerrero Loses, She Will Be Fired: World Heavyweight Champion Edge & Kelly Kelly Vs. Drew McIntyre & Vickie Guerrero “Dashing” Cody Rhodes To Return And Make An Announcement WWE Elimination Chamber Fallout With WrestleMania XXVII rapidly approaching, the Superstars of RAW and SmackDown would be looking to secure their spots at “The Biggest Event of the Year” as the second annual WWE Elimination Chamber came to you, live on pay-per-view, from the Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA. After Dolph Ziggler was fired by returning General Manager Theodore Long on the 600th episode of SmackDown this past Friday night (as well as being knocked out by Big Show and carried out of the arena after the show), World Heavyweight Champion Edge would have one less opponent to defend his gold against as Edge would defend the World Heavyweight Title against “The Ultimate Underdog” Rey Mysterio, “The Chosen One” Drew McIntyre, “The Big Red Monster” Kane, and Corre member Wade Barrett inside the demonic Elimination Chamber with the winner becoming the World Heavyweight Champion with a title defense against Alberto Del Rio at WrestleMania! The Superstars of RAW would also be looking to secure their spot at WrestleMania as the 2010 Superstar of the Year John Cena, “The Viper” Randy Orton, the leader of The New Nexus CM Punk, the 2010 King of the Ring King Sheamus, R-Truth, & “The Prince of Parkour” John Morrison would face off inside the hellacious Elimination Chamber with the winner earning a shot at the WWE Title at WrestleMania! In his near twenty year career in the WWE, Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler has never been the WWE Champion and has never competed at WrestleMania, but at WWE Elimination Chamber, “The King” will get the opportunity to do both as Jerry Lawler would challenge the self-proclaimed “most must-see WWE Champion in history” The Miz for the WWE Title! After engaging in an intense feud over the last month, it would come to a head at WWE Elimination Chamber as the winner of the 2011 Royal Rumble Match, Alberto Del Rio, would go one-on-one with Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston! After their WWE Tag Team Title match ended in disqualification on SmackDown, the rematch would take place at WWE Elimination Chamber as Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov would defend the WWE Tag Team Titles against Corre members Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel! WWE Elimination Chamber (February 20, 2011) Good Night For: John Cena & Edge (would both survive the Elimination Chamber to punch their ticket to WrestleMania) Bad Night For: Jerry “The King” Lawler (would have his dreams of headlining WrestleMania as the WWE Champion crushed by The Miz) Detailed Results Follow… On a night where he would find out who he will challenge for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania, the show would open with the winner of the 2011 Royal Rumble as Alberto Del Rio would go one-on-one with Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston in a non-title match! In the end, and with some help from his personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez, Alberto Del Rio was able to lock in the cross armbreaker on Kofi Kingston, forcing Kofi to tap out en route to picking up the win! Alberto Del Rio has his sights set on WrestleMania in six weeks, but who will be the World Heavyweight Champion on April 3 in Atlanta? Backstage, World Heavyweight Champion Edge is discussing his upcoming defense of the World Heavyweight Title inside the Elimination Chamber when he is interrupted by Drew McIntyre who tells Edge that Edge is the “sole reason” that Kelly Kelly was fired and that Edge does not even “care” if Kelly Kelly is fired before saying that Edge took something “important” away from him, so he is taking Edge’s “most prized possession”, the World Heavyweight Title, away from him! Edge responds by saying that the World Heavyweight Title and Kelly Kelly have something in common as they will both never be seen with Drew McIntyre! Then it was time for the first Elimination Chamber Match of the night as six Superstars would step in side the demonic structure to battle for the World Heavyweight Title as Edge would defend the gold against Rey Mysterio, Drew McIntyre, Kane, Wade Barrett, and an unknown fifth challenger! The rules of the Elimination Chamber Match is that, two randomly selected Superstars will start the match and, after a predetermined amount of time, another Superstar will be released from one of the pods in the Chamber and this will continue until all six Superstars have entered the match and eliminations take place by either pinfall or submission with the last man in the match being named the World Heavyweight Champion! Before the match and, with Kane, Drew McIntyre, & Wade Barrett in their pods, the General Manager of SmackDown, Theodore Long, would come out to introduce the replacement for Dolph Ziggler inside the Chamber, which would be none other than “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show! With Kane, Drew McIntyre, Wade Barrett, and the surprise entrant, Big Show, locked in the pods, that would leave “The Ultimate Underdog” Rey Mysterio and World Heavyweight Champion Edge to start the match! With Edge and Rey Mysterio still battling it out, the third entrant into the match would be released from his pod as Corre member Wade Barrett would join the fray! With Edge, Rey Mysterio, and Wade Barrett still ravaging each other in the match, the second pod would be opened as the demonic “Big Red Monster” Kane would be released into the Elimination Chamber Match! With no eliminations in the match, the fifth entrant would be released as “The Chosen One” Drew McIntyre would join Edge, Rey Mysterio, Wade Barrett, & Kane in the Elimination Chamber Match! Upon entering the match, Drew McIntyre would launch Rey Mysterio into the side of the pod and, shortly after doing that, McIntyre would send Wade Barrett crashing through the pod! With all five participants completely ravaged, the sixth and final man would enter the Elimination Chamber Match as “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show would enter the match and would immediately target Corre member Wade Barrett as Big Show would get his revenge on Barrett as Big Show would, with one hand, send Wade Barret crashing through another one of the pods! Big Show would pummel Barrett further before delivering the Knockout Punch to Barrett en route to eliminating Barrett! After this, Kane would deliver a clothesline to Big Show off of the top rope and Edge would follow it up with an elbow drop off of the top rope, but Big Show would kick out of the pin! Drew McIntyre would then hook Big Show up and deliver the Future Shock DDT, but Big Show would kick out again, leading to Rey Mysterio hitting the seated senton on Big Show! Kane would then deliver a big boot to Big Show, setting Show up for the 619 by Rey Mysterio and the Spear by Edge before Kane would knock down Edge and Mysterio before delivering a huge chokeslam to Big Show en route to finally eliminating Big Show! Kane would follow this up with the chokeslam to Drew McIntyre en route to eliminating McIntyre! With three Superstars left in the match, Rey Mysterio would hit the 619 on Kane, but when Rey would go for the seated senton on Kane, Kane would look ready to powerbomb Rey, but with both men open, Edge would deliver the Spear to both Rey and Kane simultaneously before eliminating Kane! Angry over his elimination, Kane would deliver the chokeslam to both Edge and Rey Mysterio before grudgingly leaving the ring as the match comes down to the two Superstars who started the match, World Heavyweight Champion Edge and “The Ultimate Underdog” Rey Mysterio! In a war between friends and former tag team champions, Edge would manage to hit the Spear on Rey Mysterio, but Rey would kick out, much to the shock of Edge and Rey would fight back and would hit the 619 and land the seated senton, only for Edge to kick out! This would lead to Rey Mysterio hitting the 619 for a second time, but when Rey would try to follow it up with a splash from the top rope, Edge would pop up and deliver the Spear to Mysterio in mid-air en route to picking up the win and, for the first time in five years, a champion would retain his title inside the Elimination Chamber as Edge would successfully retain the World Heavyweight Title, punching his ticket to the main event of WrestleMania where Edge will defend the gold against the winner of the 2011 Royal Rumble Match, Alberto Del Rio! After surviving the grueling Elimination Chamber Match to retain the World Heavyweight Title, Edge would be blindsided by an attack by Alberto Del Rio as Del Rio would attack Edge before locking on the cross armbreaker, but, after a six month absence due to a torn pectoral muscle caused by Alberto Del Rio, the one and only “Captain Charisma” would return as Christian would return to come to the aid of his good friend, Edge and, with revenge on his mind, Christian would assault Del Rio before hooking up and delivering the Killswitch to Del Rio! This would be followed up with the Spear by Edge as Edge would send a definitive statement to Alberto Del Rio for WrestleMania! How will Alberto Del Rio respond to Christian’s return and assault? What else does Christian have in store for Alberto Del Rio? After taking a week off due to the unfortunate death of his mother, Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler is interviewed backstage as an emotional Lawler states that his heart is with his mother, but he is going to do what he has “got to do” to win the WWE Title and headline WrestleMania! The newest addition to the SmackDown announce team and one of the trainers for the return of WWE Tough Enough the night after WrestleMania on April 4 as the six time World Champion Booker T would make a special announcement regarding Tough Enough as Booker would introduce one of the newest trainers for the show, which will be none other than the “Diva of the Decade” herself, seven time Women’s Champion, Trish Stratus! Trish would come out and would pay her homage to The Rock and Booker T before revealing that she is in the building to see Jerry “The King” Lawler face The Miz for the WWE Title! What does Trish Stratus have in store for the young hopefuls of WWE Tough Enough when the show returns the night after WrestleMania with Stone Cold Steve Austin as the host of the show and Booker T as her fellow trainer? Then it was time for the WWE Tag Team Titles to be on the line as, in a rematch from Friday’s SmackDown, Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov, with Tamina in their corner, would defend the WWE Tag Team Titles against Corre members Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel, with fellow Corre member Ezekiel Jackson in their corner! At the end of a chaotic match, it was Justin Gabriel hitting the 450 Splash on Vladimir Kozlov en route to Gabriel pinning Kozlov to allow Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel to win the WWE Tag Team Titles! The Corre now has gold with Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel reigning as the WWE Tag Team Champions, but what else does The Corre have in store? Two nights after her boyfriend, Dolph Ziggler, was fired by the returning General Manager, Theodore Long, on the 600th episode of SmackDown, Vickie Guerrero made an appearance to “explain” why Dolph Ziggler attacked Theodore Long several weeks ago as Vickie states that Dolph was “confused” in attacking Theodore Long and committed a “crime of passion” before saying that Dolph is “sorry”! Vickie then pleads with the WWE fans to convince Theodore Long to give Dolph a “second chance” as Vickie begs the fans to give both of them a “second chance”! SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long then comes out as Vickie sucks up to the GM in an attempt to get Dolph rehired and Long responds by saying that he is in a “hiring mood”! Long then reveals that he has not rehired Dolph Ziggler, but he has rehired someone and given the individual “free range” to “thank” Vickie for her time as acting General Manager before Kelly Kelly would come out and would corner Vickie before delivering a kick to the mid-section of Vickie, but Layla & Michelle McCool would come out and save Vickie before attacking Kelly Kelly and delivering a knee to Kelly on the outside! As the attack by LayCool continues, Kelly Kelly would be saved by Trish Stratus, who would attack LayCool and would deliver the Chick Kick to Michelle McCool before delivering Stratusfaction to Layla before celebrating with Kelly Kelly in the middle of the ring! How will Vickie Guerrero and LayCool respond to Kelly Kelly’s rehiring and Trish Stratus fending off LayCool’s attack? Then it was time for the WWE Title to be defended as the self-proclaimed “most must-see WWE Champion in history” The Miz, with his “apprentice” Alex Riley in his corner, would defend the WWE Title against a man who, in his near two decade career in the WWE, has never been the WWE Champion and has never been in the main event of WrestleMania in Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler! After interfering on behalf of The Miz behind the referee’s back on three separate occasions, the referee would eject Alex Riley from ringside, leaving the title match to be contested in a one-on-one environment! Shortly after this, commentator Michael Cole would shout at Jerry Lawler long enough for The Miz to take advantage, but Jerry Lawler would fight back and would send The Miz over the announce table, taking Michael Cole out of the equation! Despite a stellar effort by the Hall of Famer, The Miz would manage to hit the Skull Crushing Finale on Jerry “The King” Lawler en route to pinning Lawler to crush the dreams of Jerry Lawler and retain the WWE Title! The Miz now looks to WrestleMania in six weeks, but who will The Miz defend the WWE Title against? Then it was time for the main event as the #1 Contender for the WWE Title at WrestleMania would be determined inside the Elimination Chamber as the 2010 Superstar of the Year John Cena, “The Viper” Randy Orton, the leader of The New Nexus CM Punk, the 2010 King of the Ring King Sheamus, R-Truth, & “The Prince of Parkour” John Morrison would all square off inside the demonic structure! With Randy Orton, R-Truth, CM Punk, & John Cena in their respective pods awaiting release, the match would start with two familiar rivals as “The Prince of Parkour” John Morrison would square off with the 2010 King of the Ring, King Sheamus! With rivals John Morrison and King Sheamus still battling, the third Superstar would be released out of the pod as “The Viper” Randy Orton would join the match! The fourth Superstar would then be released as CM Punk would enter the match, but with the door to the pod stuck, Punk would be vulnerable to an attack by Randy Orton as Orton would pummel the leader of The New Nexus before planting Punk with the RKO in the middle of the ring en route to eliminating Punk! With the match still going on, the anonymous General Manager of RAW would chime in with an email that makes the unreal announcement that, due to a “malfunctioning pod”, CM Punk will be allowed to re-enter the match and re-enter his pod! With CM Punk being allowed to recover back inside the safety of his pod, Randy Orton, King Sheamus, and John Morrison would continue their battle in the Elimination Chamber! The fourth Superstar would then be officially released into the match as John Cena would join the fray! The fifth Superstar would then enter the match as R-Truth would enter the Elimination Chamber Match! The first elimination of the match would see King Sheamus blast R-Truth with the Brogue Kick en route to eliminating Truth from the Elimination Chamber Match! Shortly after this, Randy Orton would target John Morrison as Orton would send Morrison crashing through a pod! Then it was time for CM Punk to officially enter the match, but Punk would opt to wait as Punk would witness John Cena going for the Attitude Adjustment on Randy Orton, but Orton would counter and hit the RKO on the steel floor of the Elimination Chamber! CM Punk would then opt to come out of his pod and would pick his spots on a weakened Randy Orton before mocking Orton and delivering the GTS to Orton en route to eliminating Orton from the match! Later on in the match, John Morrison would pull off a jaw-dropping move as Morrison would scale the Elimination Chamber to the roof of the structure before dropping on King Sheamus with a cross body en route to eliminating Sheamus from the match, leaving only John Cena, CM Punk, and John Morrison in the match! Shortly after this, John Morrison would go for a knee to the face of John Cena, but Cena would move out of the way and Morrison would go crashing, knee first, through the pod! The next elimination would see John Morrison, on one leg, attempt to hit Starship Pain on CM Punk, but Punk would move out of the way and Morrison would crash, injured knee first, which would allow CM Punk to deliver the GTS to Morrison en route to eliminating Morrison from the match! Shortly after this, John Cena would hoist CM Punk up for the Attitude Adjustment, but Punk would grab the top rope, which would lead to Cena delivering the Attitude Adjustment to Punk over the top rope to the steel floor of the Elimination Chamber, allowing Cena to pin Punk and punch his ticket to WrestleMania where he will challenge The Miz for the WWE Championship! Can John Cena defeat The Miz at WrestleMania to win the WWE Title? What else will happen with just six weeks left before WrestleMania? Just one night after a brutal and unforgettable WWE Elimination Chamber, the 926th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW came to you, live, from the Save Mart Center at Fresno State in Fresno, CA. Over the past month, cryptic videos have depicted a mysterious, yet familiar, figure dressed in all black entering a house in the middle of nowhere and peering out the windows as a storm raged outside and the videos would all end by showing the date 2.21.11! With that date upon us, RAW would feature the revealing of this mysterious individual! Monday Night RAW (February 21, 2011) Good Week For: Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel (lost the WWE Tag Team Titles to The Miz & John Cena, only to win them back mere minutes later) Bad Week For: John Cena (was cost the WWE Tag Team Titles by his own partner, The Miz) Detailed Results Follow… Just one night after surviving five other RAW Superstars in the demonic Elimination Chamber to become the #1 Contender for The Miz’s WWE Title at WrestleMania, the show kicks off with the WrestleMania bound John Cena as Cena states that last night should have been a “wonderful night” following his victory and he should have been proclaiming that he is “going to WrestleMania”! Cena then says that, ever since last week’s RAW, he has not heard about The Miz, the Elimination Chamber, or WrestleMania, all he has heard about are the comments made by the WrestleMania Host The Rock on last week’s RAW when Rock mocked Cena’s catch phrase, “You Can’t See Me” and called Cena a “big, fat bowl of Fruity Pebbles”, as well as vowing to “see” Cena at WrestleMania! Cena then states that he still has a “degree in Thuganomics” before saying that, if he does not “end it” on RAW, then he will never hear the end of it! Cena would then go back in time by delivering a special rap for The Rock as Cena would say that Cena says that he was “not talking trash”, but he was telling the “truth” because The Rock left them “high and dry” to go play a “fairy with a tooth”! Cena continues that The Rock thinks that he is “lame”, but Rock “wore lipstick in Get Shorty and rocked a skirt for The Game Plan” before saying that he is not your “average jabroni” before saying that he’s a “big, purple pinwheel” so Rock should just “blow” him! Cena then states that Rock will have to go tell his family that he just got “schooled by Barney’s turd” before telling Rock to not “go racing to Witch Mountain” because his “Mountain is Brokeback” before saying that The Rock’s next movie takes place in a “bowling alley” where he “polishes” his “balls”! Cena would then say that, for seven years, they could not “see him” before stating that Rock should stick with The Rock because “Dwayne” does not a “John, son”! Cena would then say that he will “make sure” that The Rock will “kiss” his “candy ass” before saying that The Rock says that he “loves” the fans, but he is there “every week” to show it before stating that The Rock can “run” his mouth all he wants because it “does not matter” what The Rock is “saying”! How will The Rock respond to John Cena’s intense and personal insults towards the Host of WrestleMania? Just one night after a stellar performance in the Elimination Chamber where he dove off of the ceiling of the Chamber onto King Sheamus, as well as being sent knee-first through one of the pods, a worse-for-wear John Morrison would limp to the ring to go one-on-one with the man who attempted to take him out of the Elimination Chamber Match two weeks ago and the man who eliminated him from the Elimination Chamber Match one night earlier in an equally as banged up leader of The New Nexus, CM Punk, just one night after CM Punk was ravaged, scraped, and slammed on the steel floor as the last elimination of the match! In the end, it was CM Punk overcoming his own pain and injuries and would take advantage of the injured knee of John Morrison en route to hoisting Morrison up and delivering the GTS en route to picking up the win! After the match, CM Punk would call out Randy Orton and state that he has “decided” to give The New Nexus the “night off”! Punk then states that, on September 7, 2008, Randy Orton “decided” to punt him in the skull and rendering him unable to defend the World Heavyweight Title and that brings them to the present day before saying that the “bright lights of WrestleMania” are not in the “future” as Orton does not “deserve” to compete at WrestleMania and tells Orton to “walk away” before stating that, if Randy Orton confronts him on next week’s RAW, then he will “hurt” Orton! This prompts Orton to rush into the ring and attack CM Punk, but Punk would narrowly escape getting hit with the RKO of Orton before The New Nexus would come out to support their leader! What will happen when Randy Orton and CM Punk finally clash, one-on-one? One night after defeating Kofi Kingston in a one-on-one match and attempting to injure World Heavyweight Champion Edge moments after Edge retained inside the demonic Elimination Chamber only for a returning Christian to attack and lay him out, the winner of the 2011 Royal Rumble Match, Alberto Del Rio, was set for action on RAW, but Kofi Kingston would attack Del Rio from behind! Alberto Del Rio would manage to fight back against Kofi and would target the injured arm of Kofi as Del Rio would assault the arm before sending Kofi arm-first into the ringside barricade before locking in the cross armbreaker on the Intercontinental Champion! Del Rio would then start to leave, but would spot Kofi Kingston being helped to his feet and would send Kofi arm-first into the steel ring post, leaving Kofi writhing in pain on the arena floor! What is the status of Kofi Kingston following this attack? One night after utilizing both Alex Riley and Michael Cole to ultimately retain the WWE Title against Jerry “The King” Lawler at WWE Elimination Chamber, WWE Champion The Miz, with his “apprentice” Alex Riley in tow, would make an appearance on RAW! The Miz states that, last week, the fans “embarrassed” themselves by cheering for The Rock’s return last week before saying that he looked forward to one of Rock’s “classic” lines regarding him for Rock saying that he “sucks”! Miz would then state that he has heard “Kindergarteners” insult him better before saying that that he is a “little hurt” before saying he will check his “tears” in his “championship gold”! Miz continues that, while The Rock will be the Host of WrestleMania, he will be main eventing WrestleMania where he will “beat” John Cena! Miz then states that he could “care less” what the fans think before saying that it “does not matter” what the fans think because he is the “most must-see WWE Champion in history” before asking if they “can see that” before declaring that he is “awesome”! The anonymous General Manager of RAW chimes in with an email that announces that the GM plans to “deal with” The Rock later before announcing that the main event will see the WWE Tag Team Titles defended as new tag champions Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel will defend the gold against the team of WWE Champion The Miz and Miz’s WrestleMania opponent, John Cena! It has happened in the past, but will the highly dysfunctional team of The Miz and John Cena actually win the WWE Tag Team Titles together just six weeks before they square off for the WWE Title at WrestleMania? Following their brawl in the backstage area last week, the Divas would be in action on RAW as Divas Champion Eve Torres and Gail Kim would take on The Bella Twins in tag team action! In the end, it was The Bella Twins utilizing their “Twin Magic” to switch Bellas, allowing the fresh Bella to roll Eve Torres up for the win! After weeks of cryptic videos and a countdown clock going since the beginning of RAW, the countdown clock would reach zero as the dark figure would emerge from the abandoned house and would show his face, revealing that it is none other than the one and only “Phenom” of the WWE, “The Deadman” The Undertaker! For the first time since being buried alive by Kane in October, The Undertaker would make his long and iconic walk to the ring and would enter the ring, standing beneath a lit up version of his signature symbol! As The Undertaker symbolically removed his hat as he has done so many times over the years, the return of The Undertaker would be interrupted by an even more shocking return as the one and only thirteen time World Champion, “The Game” Triple H would emerge as “The Cerebral Assassin” would remove his coat before making a determined march to the ring and, as a seething Undertaker bore his glare into Triple H, Triple H would glare back at “The Deadman” in the exact same fashion before the two returning icons would come face-to-face! Triple H’s glare would then turn to the WrestleMania sign, followed by The Undertaker’s glare following, but Undertaker would scoff at Triple H’s challenge before putting his hat back on and starting to leave the ring! Undertaker would then turn back and deliver his cut throat sign to Triple H and Triple H would respond by delivering the DX crotch chop to Undertaker, which would lead to the two legends going face-to-face once again with neither man having said a word! After the return of The Undertaker was followed by the surprising return of Triple H, Triple H has apparently challenged The Undertaker to a showdown at “The Grandest Stage of Them All” WrestleMania and Undertaker has seemingly accepted! What will happen when these two iconic legends clash in six weeks at WrestleMania? One week after assaulting Mark Henry and one night after taking part in the grueling Elimination Chamber Match, the 2010 King of the Ring King Sheamus would go one-on-one with a revenge-driven “World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry! In the end, it was King Sheamus making the last minute decision to remove the turnbuckle pad, exposing the steel, but Mark Henry would deliver a big splash to Sheamus in the corner, ramming Sheamus’ back into the steel, which would allow Henry to hit the World’s Strongest Slam on Sheamus en route to picking up the win! It was revealed on RAW that none other than former RAW Guest Star and reigning “Miss USA” Rima Fakih will be one of the contestants on WWE Tough Enough in April! Who else will be taking part in the show when Tough Enough returns the night after WrestleMania? Almost a month after the blockbuster announcement was made that the one and only “Showstopper” Shawn Michaels will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, RAW would see the announcement of the second inductee as the first Royal Rumble Match winner in history will join Shawn Michaels in the Class of 2011 as “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan will be inducted into the Hall of Fame by “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase on April 2 in Atlanta! Who else will join the Hall of Fame ranks this year? One night after having his dreams of headlining WrestleMania as the WWE Champion crushed by The Miz, with help from Alex Riley and Michael Cole, Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler would take part in a special interview on RAW as the interview would be conducted by none other than his broadcast colleague, Michael Cole! Before bringing out Jerry Lawler, Michael Cole reveals that the General Manager has decreed that, if there is any physicality between the two of them, then they will both be fired! Cole then states that he is going to be the “bigger man” and “let bygones be bygones” because he is a “journalist” and he is going to conduct a “professional interview”! Cole then calls himself the “voice of the WWE” and states that, besides Mr. McMahon in his early days, he is “better” than Hall of Fame announcers Gordon Solie, Gorilla Monsoon, Jim Ross, and Jerry “The King” Lawler! Cole then states that he is a “former war correspondent” and all he asks is for the “attention” of the fans! After vowing to conduct a “professional interview” with his Hall of Fame colleague Jerry “The King” Lawler with physicality banned between the two of them, the self-proclaimed “voice of the WWE” Michael Cole would bring Jerry Lawler out for a special interview! Cole’s first question would be to ask how Jerry Lawler felt prior to his WWE Title match last night, but the question would go unanswered as “The King” bore a hole through Michael Cole with a hateful stare, remembering how Michael Cole cost him his shot at being the WWE Champion just one night earlier! Cole would move on to his second question by asking Jerry Lawler how Lawler felt when he realized that his dreams were going to be crushed when he lost to the “most must-see WWE Champion in history”, The Miz, and asked if Lawler thought that it was time to admit that Cole was “right” and if it is time to “retire” for good! This question would also go unanswered, which would lead to Cole’s third question as Cole would ask Lawler how it felt to be pinned by The Miz at WWE Elimination Chamber and how it felt to be “staring into the heavens” to see his “deceased mother” with the “best seat in the house” before asking Lawler how it felt when he realized that he had let his mother “down”! Jerry Lawler then puts his hands on Michael Cole and lifts him up by his jacket and tells Cole that, if Cole mentions his mother again, it will be the “last thing” that Cole will ever say! Jerry Lawler continues by saying that, for weeks, he has listened to Cole call him an “old man” while singing the praises of his “thumb-sucking friends” and tells Cole to remember that he has “forgotten more about this game” than Cole or any of the fans will “ever know”! Lawler then says that he’s got a “way in” to WrestleMania and it does not matter to him if he gets “fired” for it because he is issuing a WrestleMania Challenge to Michael Cole! Jerry Lawler then asks Cole for his response and a shaken up Cole calls Lawler a “senile, old man” and that Lawler will “never” get him in the ring before Cole would quickly exit the ring and put his headset back on at ringside! Lawler then follows Cole out and tells Cole to “be a man” and show everyone what he’s got before asking Cole if he is a “man” or just a “gutless, yellow coward”! Cole would respond by taking his jacket off and it would look like Cole was ready to fight Lawler, but Cole would throw water in the face of the Hall of Famer, allowing Cole to make a quick exit through the crowd and out of the arena! What will happen the next time Jerry “The King” Lawler and Michael Cole are in the same arena? Then it was time for the main event as WrestleMania opponents would be forced to team up as WWE Champion The Miz would team with the #1 Contender for his WWE Title at WrestleMania, John Cena, to challenge the new WWE Tag Team Champions, Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel, with fellow Corre members Wade Barrett & Ezekiel Jackson in their corner, for the WWE Tag Team Titles! At the end of a dominant match, it was The Miz hitting the Skull Crushing Finale on Justin Gabriel en route to pinning Gabriel to win the WWE Tag Team Titles for the unlikely team of The Miz & John Cena! The celebration of the new WWE Tag Team Champions would be short-lived, however, as Corre member Wade Barrett would speak on behalf of Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel by saying that they are invoking their rematch clause for the titles right now and, with the match made official by the anonymous General Manager, new WWE Tag Team Champions John Cena & WWE Champion The Miz, with Miz’s “apprentice” Alex Riley in the corner, would defend their newly acquired titles against the former champions Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel, with Corre members Wade Barrett & Ezekiel Jackson in their corner! In the end, it was Wade Barrett distracting the referee while John Cena hoisted Heath Slater up for the Attitude Adjustment, but The Miz would come in from behind with the Skull Crushing Finale on Cena, allowing Slater to pin Cena for Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel to regain the WWE Tag Team Titles! How will John Cena respond to The Miz costing them the WWE Tag Team Titles? The 98th edition of WWE Superstars came to you from the Save Mart Center at Fresno State in Fresno, CA and from the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, CA. Superstars would see the United States Champion in action as Daniel Bryan would go one-on-one with “The Fortunate Son” Ted DiBiase in a non-title match! WWE Superstars (February 24, 2011) Good Week For: Chris Masters (forced Tyler Reks to submit for the second week in a row) Bad Week For: Ted DiBiase (lost to Daniel Bryan after Maryse hit him with a bouquet of flowers brought to her by Yoshi Tatsu) Detailed Results Follow… After a roller coaster couple of nights at WWE Elimination Chamber and on RAW where they won the WWE Tag Team Titles from Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov only to lose them to WWE Champion The Miz & John Cena one night later, but would regain the titles due to The Miz intentionally costing himself and Cena the titles, the new WWE Tag Team Champions would be in action on WWE Superstars as Corre members Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel would face the team of “The Brooklyn Baller” JTG and “The Dude Buster” Trent Barreta in a non-title match! In the end, it was Heath Slater hitting the Sweetness by Slater on JTG en route to picking up the win for the WWE Tag Team Champions! In a rematch from last week’s WWE Superstars where Chris Masters shockingly forced Tyler Reks into submission with the Masterlock, “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters would go one-on-one with “The X Factor” Tyler Reks! In the end, it was Chris Masters achieving the same result two weeks in a row as Masters was able to subdue Tyler Reks with the Masterlock, forcing the big man into submission to pick up the win! Four nights after losing the WWE Tag Team Titles to The Corre’s Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel at WWE Elimination Chamber, “The King of the Cobra” Santino Marella, with Tamina in his corner, would go one-on-one with “The Crowned Prince” Tyson Kidd! In the end, it was Santino Marella hitting the Cobra Strike on Tyson Kidd en route to picking up the win! Then it was time for the main event as United States Champion Daniel Bryan would go one-on-one with “The Fortunate Son” Ted DiBiase, with Maryse in his corner, in a non-title match! After getting a kiss from Maryse on last week’s RAW on Valentine’s Day, Yoshi Tatsu would come out during the match with a bouquet of flowers for Maryse and Maryse would accept the flowers, but would not kiss Tatsu, but would whack Ted DiBiase upside the head with the bouquet, which would allow Daniel Bryan to lock in the LeBell Lock on DiBiase, earning the submission victory! How will Ted DiBiase respond to the actions of Maryse? Five nights after a brutal and unforgettable WWE Elimination Chamber, the 601st edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown came to you from the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, CA. One week after witnessing her boyfriend, Dolph Ziggler, being fired by the returning General Manager, Theodore Long, for Dolph’s attack on the GM last month, Vickie Guerrero would also be put on trial, but in a different way, as Vickie would be forced to team with “The Chosen One” Drew McIntyre to face the newly rehired Kelly Kelly and her partner, World Heavyweight Champion Edge, in a Mixed Tag Match where, if Drew McIntyre & Vickie Guerrero lose, then Vickie would be fired! Also, after having his nose inadvertently broken by Rey Mysterio and undergoing reconstructive surgery several weeks ago, “Dashing” Cody Rhodes would appear on SmackDown as Rhodes has stated that he has an announcement to make! Friday Night SmackDown (February 25, 2011) Good Week For: Theodore Long (got to fire Vickie Guerrero following Vickie’s loss in the main event) Bad Week For: Vickie Guerrero (was fired by SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long) Detailed Results Follow… Five nights after being the final Superstars eliminated from the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title, “The Ultimate Underdog” Rey Mysterio would go one-on-one with “The Big Red Monster” Kane, who was dominant for a good part of the same Elimination Chamber Match as Kane eliminated both Big Show and Drew McIntyre from the match! At the end of a hard-fought match, it was Rey Mysterio using his quickness to overcome Kane’s power as, after hitting the 619 on Kane, Rey would go for the seated senton on Kane, but Kane would catch Rey and looked ready to powerbomb Rey, but Rey would counter and would manage to catch Kane in a roll-up en route to picking up the win! After his big win over Kane, Rey Mysterio would celebrate his victory, but the celebration would be interrupted with a surprise appearance by WWE Hall of Famer “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes! The Hall of Famer tells Rey Mysterio that Rey has been a “personal friend” of his for some time and he is “disappointed” with how his son, Cody Rhodes, has acted towards Mysterio recently before Dusty would order his son to come out and “apologize” to Mysterio! Still wearing the protective mask from his reconstructive surgery, Cody Rhodes comes out and asks his father why he is out there as he is there to make an “announcement” about his “future” before telling his dad that everyone is “staring” at him! Cody Rhodes continues that, because of Rey Mysterio, he had no Royal Rumble, no Elimination Chamber, and no WrestleMania! Dusty Rhodes reminds his son that they have discussed, in the past, competing at WrestleMania, being a champion, and being a Hall of Famer like himself! Dusty then tells his son that Cody has “lost focus” by focusing on his looks more than his in-ring ability before saying that, while Cody Rhodes was being “dashing”, The Miz rose up and became WWE Champion and Edge was injured, returned, fired, and rehired and is now the World Heavyweight Champion! Dusty continues that Cody has accused Rey Mysterio of intentionally injuring the face of Cody before telling his son that Cody has to take the time to do what is “right” and “apologize” to Rey Mysterio! Cody would then apologize to his father before telling Rey Mysterio that he should not have said the things that he did before apologizing to Mysterio and shaking his hand, but the master plan of the Rhodes family would reveal itself as, after shaking the hand of Dusty Rhodes, the Hall of Famer would hold onto the hand of Rey, allowing his son to attack Mysterio from behind, which would kick off an assault on Mysterio! Cody Rhodes would send Rey Mysterio out of the ring before proceeding to smash Rey’s face off of the steel steps and throwing Rey, spine first, into the ringside barricade before dragging Rey to the steel stage before grinding Rey’s face on the steel grating on the stage, but after catching a glimpse of himself in the digital mirror set up for his entrance, Rhodes would send Rey face-first into the entrance screen before making a helpless Rey sit up as Rhodes would remove the legendary mask of Rey Mysterio before blasting Rey with a kick to the head! Cody Rhodes would finally take his leave as referees would rush out and cover the face and head of Rey Mysterio before helping Rey to the back! What is the status of Rey Mysterio following this vicious attack by Cody Rhodes? Recovering from an ankle injury, Michelle McCool would be a guest on commentary as her teammate, Layla, would go one-on-one with Rosa Mendes! During the match, the Divas would battle on the outside, but Michelle McCool would distract Rosa Mendes, but Rosa would respond by throwing Layla into McCool and McCool would respond by attacking Rosa from behind, resulting a disqualification win for Rosa! A skeptical Layla would then help an injured Michelle McCool from the ring as LayCool would exit together! Is the friendship of Layla & Michelle McCool on the rocks? Four nights after being ruthlessly assaulted by Alberto Del Rio on RAW, Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston, with his left arm heavily bandaged due to the attack, would go one-on-one with “The All-American American” Jack Swagger in a non-title match! In the end, the injured arm of Kofi Kingston would prevent Kofi from escaping from the ankle lock of Jack Swagger, leading to Kofi having no choice but to tap out, giving Swagger the win! Has Jack Swagger earned himself a future shot at the Intercontinental Title? Five nights after being two of six participants in the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title, “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show would go one-on-one with Corre member Wade Barrett with the rest of The Corre banned from ringside! In the end, it was the match spilling to the outside where Big Show would prevent Wade Barrett from coming back in before re-entering the ring at the last second to pick up the count-out win! After the match, Big Show was set to deal out more punishment to Wade Barrett, but the rest of The Corre would come out and would look set to attack Big Show once again, but Big Show would head the outside and would grab a steel chair and would land a shot to the skull of Justin Gabriel with the chair as The Corre would retreat from the ring! What will happen next between Big Show and The Corre? It was revealed during SmackDown that, after an epic return and an even more epic confrontation with a returning Triple H on RAW, the one and only “Phenom” of the WWE will return to Friday Nights as The Undertaker will return to SmackDown! What does The Undertaker have in store for SmackDown just five weeks before his huge match against Triple H at WrestleMania? With The Undertaker returning to SmackDown next Friday, it was also announced that Monday’s RAW will see the long awaited return of the thirteen-time World Champion, “The Game” Triple H as “The Cerebral Assassin” returns to Monday Nights! What does Triple H have in store for RAW just five weeks before his legendary match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania?ss Then it was time for the main event as World Heavyweight Champion Edge would team with the newly rehired Kelly Kelly to face the team of “The Chosen One” Drew McIntyre and Vickie Guerrero in a Mixed Tag Match and, per the orders of General Manager Theodore Long, if Vickie’s team loses, then Vickie Guerrero will be fired! In the end, it was Edge getting ready to deliver the Spear to Drew McIntyre, but, desperate to save her job, Vickie Guerrero would step in the way of the Spear, but Kelly Kelly would deliver her own Spear to Vickie, which would allow Edge to hit the Spear on McIntyre en route to pinning McIntyre to pick up the win for his team, meaning that Vickie Guerrero is fired! After Edge & Kelly Kelly defeated Drew McIntyre & Vickie Guerrero with Vickie’s job on the line, an ecstatic Theodore Long would make his way to the ring as the General Manager would look to make the firing of Vickie Guerrero official! Despite Vickie Guerrero literally begging to keep her job, General Manager Theodore Long was all too proud to announce that Vickie Guerrero is fired! Theodore Long would then make his exit from the ring, leaving Vickie Guerrero alone in the ring with her jovial ex-husband, Edge, but Vickie would exit the ring to beg the referee for her job before begging SmackDown Color Commentator Booker T for her job back only for Booker to laugh in the face of Vickie! Vickie would then beg SmackDown commentator Michael Cole and Cole would vow to talk to Theodore Long to try to get her job back and Vickie would even beg a cameraman for a job before re-entering the ring and groveling in front of her ex-husband, World Heavyweight Champion Edge, who opts to sing Vickie out of the ring just like he did for Dolph Ziggler last week and the fans join in as Vickie takes the walk of shame from the ring as Vickie screams “you wait”! As Edge witnessed the fired Vickie Guerrero make her exit, the World Heavyweight Champion is blind-sided by his WrestleMania challenger, Alberto Del Rio, as Del Rio would assault Edge and lock in the cross armbreaker, leaving Edge grabbing at his arm in the ring! What is the status of Edge following this vicious attack by Alberto Del Rio?
