Curt Hawkins & Tyler Reks Friday Night SmackDown World Heavyweight Championship: 3-on-2 Mixed Handicap Match: Edge © & Kelly Kelly Vs. Dolph Ziggler, Layla, & Michelle McCool Royal Rumble Fallout As the Road To WrestleMania begins, the 24th annual WWE Royal Rumble came to you, live on pay-per-view, from the TD Garden in Boston, MA. With a shot at either the WWE Title or the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania XXVII, an unheard of 40 Superstars would compete in the 40-Man Royal Rumble Match with the winner earning the honor to headline WrestleMania as 2009 Royal Rumble winner John Cena, 2006 Royal Rumble winner Rey Mysterio, “The Mexican Elitist” Alberto Del Rio, “The Second City Saint” CM Punk & The New Nexus, The Corre, “The Big Red Monster” Kane, “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show, and many, many more would be looking to get their opportunity to shine on “The Grandest Stage of Them All”! While the 40-Man Royal Rumble Match would determine who will get a guaranteed shot at either the WWE or World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania XXVII, there would be no guarantee who will walk into WrestleMania as the WWE Champion as the Royal Rumble would see the self-proclaimed “most must-see champion in WWE history” The Miz would defend the WWE Title against the man he took the title from late last year in “The Viper” Randy Orton! The World Heavyweight Title would also be up for grabs when “The Rated-R Superstar” Edge defends the World Heavyweight Title against “The Platinum Superstar” Dolph Ziggler and, by order of Dolph’s girlfriend and acting General Manager Vickie Guerrero, Edge’s signature Spear is banned from the match and, if Edge utilizes the Spear, not only will he be disqualified, he will lose the World Heavyweight Title! Also, a 2-on-1 Handicap Match would determine the Divas Champion as reigning champion Natalya would defend the gold against former “co-Divas Champions” Layla & Michelle McCool! WWE Royal Rumble (January 30, 2011) Good Night For: Alberto Del Rio (after entering at #38, would win the 2011 Royal Rumble Match) Bad Night For: Randy Orton (would get cheated out of the WWE Title by CM Punk & The New Nexus) Detailed Results Follow… The 24th annual Royal Rumble kicks off in a huge way as the World Heavyweight Title would be up for grabs as reigning champion Edge would defend the World Heavyweight Title against “The Platinum Superstar” Dolph Ziggler, with Dolph’s girlfriend and acting General Manager of SmackDown Vickie Guerrero in his corner, with the added stipulation made by Vickie Guerrero that the Spear would be banned from the match and if Edge uses the Spear, Edge will be disqualified and will lose the World Heavyweight Title! During the hard-fought match, Edge would hit the Impaler DDT on Dolph Ziggler, but when Edge went for the pin, Vickie Guerrero would pull on the referee’s leg, interrupting the count! Edge would then confront Vickie on the apron and Dolph would try to catch Edge from behind, but Edge would dodge and would catch Dolph with a roll-up for a near fall! Vickie would then repeatedly slap Edge, but Kelly Kelly would come out and attack Vickie, taking Vickie out of the equation as Dolph hits the Zig Zag for a near fall! Dolph would then lock in the sleeper hold on Edge, but as Edge fought to escape the sleeper hold, the referee would get inadvertently knocked down! With both the referee and Vickie Guerrero down, Edge would line up and hit the banned Spear on Dolph Ziggler and, after the referee gets back to his feet, Edge would give a shout-out to his injured friend, Christian, by breaking out the Killswitch and hitting the move on Dolph en route to picking up the win and successfully retaining the World Heavyweight Title! How will Vickie Guerrero respond once she realizes that Edge used the Spear during the match? After a stellar and controversial World Heavyweight Title match, it was then time for the WWE Title to be defended as reigning champion The Miz, with his “apprentice” Alex Riley in his corner, would defend the WWE Title against the man he took the title from late last year, “The Viper” Randy Orton! During the match, Randy Orton would look poised for victory as Orton readied the RKO, but Orton would be distracted by the arrival of The New Nexus as Mason Ryan, David Otunga, Husky Harris, & Michael McGillicutty come out and distract the referee, allowing Alex Riley to sneak into the ring, but Orton would spot Riley and would send Riley over the top rope, taking out The New Nexus and temporarily knocking down the referee! With the referee knocked down, Orton would hit the RKO on The Miz, but New Nexus leader CM Punk would emerge from under the ring and would hit the GTS on Randy Orton before proceeding to drag The Miz over the prone Orton as the referee comes to and counts the three, allowing The Miz to retain the WWE Title! Why did CM Punk & The New Nexus assist The Miz in retaining the WWE Title? The Divas Title would also be on the line at the Royal Rumble as Natalya would defend the Divas Title against both members of LayCool, Layla & Michelle McCool in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match, but before the match begins, the anonymous General Manager of RAW chimes in with an email that announces that he is changing the Divas Title match to a Fatal 4-Way Match for the Divas Title as Natalya would defend the Divas Title against Layla, Michelle McCool, & Eve Torres! During the chaotic match, Michelle McCool would go for a big boot on Natalya, but Natalya would move out of the way and McCool would inadvertently blast Layla with the big boot! Natalya would then send Michelle McCool out of the ring before Eve Torres would send Natalya out of the ring and Eve would then hit the Evesault on Layla, but as Eve pinned Layla, Michelle McCool would roll-up Natalya, but the referee would not see McCool’s roll-up and would count Eve’s pinfall to crown Eve Torres the new Divas Champion! Backstage, The Bella Twins confront United States Champion Daniel Bryan and his girlfriend, Gail Kim, and try to make amends by giving flowers to the couple, but The Bellas would backtrack by alleging that Bryan settled for Gail because they are more attractive! This would spark another brawl between Gail Kim and The Bella Twins that would see Daniel Bryan and Josh Mathews trying to break up the fight before Bryan is finally able to calm Gail Kim down! Then it was time for the main attraction of the Royal Rumble as, in the biggest Royal Rumble Match in history, 40 Superstars from RAW and SmackDown would compete in the match where two random Superstars will start the match and, every 90 seconds, another Superstar would enter the match and the only way to be eliminated is to be thrown over the top rope with both feet landing on the floor and the last Superstar standing will earn a shot at either the WWE or World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania! The #1 entrant in the 40-Man Royal Rumble Match would then be revealed to be none other than the leader of The New Nexus, “The Second City Saint” CM Punk, but as the #2 entrant was set to be revealed, all four members of The Corre would come out as Wade Barrett, Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel, & Ezekiel Jackson would surround the ring before attacking CM Punk and The New Nexus would join the fray as Mason Ryan, David Otunga, Husky Harris, & Michael McGillicutty! As referees struggle to separate the two factions, the anonymous General Manager of RAW chimes in with an email that stops the groups’ brawl and reiterates that CM Punk is the only one who should be in the ring and, if The Corre and The New Nexus do not leave the ring, then they will all be disqualified from the Royal Rumble Match! Faced with this ultimatum, The Corre and The New Nexus would exit the ring before the #2 entrant would be revealed to be United States Champion Daniel Bryan! As the leader of The New Nexus, CM Punk, and the United States Champion, Daniel Bryan, continue their battle, the #3 entrant would emerge as Corre member Justin Gabriel would enter the Royal Rumble Match! After missing the 450 Splash on CM Punk, Justin Gabriel would find himself sent to the back as Daniel Bryan would eliminate Gabriel from the match! The #4 entrant would then come out as “The Long Island Iced Z” Zack Ryder would enter the Rumble Match, but would be eliminated by Daniel Bryan, as well, before the #5 entrant would be the 2008 King of the Ring William Regal! The #6 entrant would then be revealed to be “The Fortunate Son” Ted DiBiase, which would be followed by the #7 entrant, “The Prince of Parkour” John Morrison! Then, in one of the most unique moments in Royal Rumble history, William Regal would knock John Morrison off of the ring apron, but Morrison would latch onto the ringside barricade before climbing onto the barricade and jumping from the barricade to the steel steps before re-entering the ring, never being eliminated as his feet did not touch the floor! Meanwhile, Ted DiBiase would eliminate William Regal before Yoshi Tatsu makes his entrance as the #8 entrant! The #9 entrant would then be revealed to be New Nexus member Husky Harris as Harris comes to the aid of The New Nexus leader, CM Punk! The #10 entrant would then be revealed to be the third-generation “Mexican Warrior” Chavo Guerrero, followed by the #11 entrant, “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry as Henry would eliminate Chavo Guerrero and Yoshi Tatsu! The #12 entrant, JTG, would then enter the Rumble Match before the #13 entrant enters the match as New Nexus member Michael McGillicutty enters the match and immediately eliminates JTG! New Nexus members Husky Harris & Michael McGillicutty would then eliminate Ted DiBiase before the #14 entrant, Chris Masters, makes his entrance into the match, followed by the #15 entrant, New Nexus member David Otunga! With only one New Nexus member yet to enter the match, CM Punk would eliminate Daniel Bryan and Chris Masters before CM Punk & The New Nexus would work together to eliminate John Morrison and Mark Henry before attacking the #16 entrant, Tyler Reks, allowing CM Punk to eliminate Reks before CM Punk & The New Nexus await the arrival of the #17 entrant, one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions Vladimir Kozlov! CM Punk & The New Nexus would then do the same to eliminate the #18 entrant, R-Truth, before CM Punk & The New Nexus is met by the “great” challenge of the #19 entrant, The Great Khali, who eliminates Husky Harris and leaves CM Punk & The New Nexus laid out before the #20 entrant is revealed to be New Nexus member, Mason Ryan, who manages to power Khali over the top rope to eliminate the giant! CM Punk & The New Nexus would then regroup before the shocking #21 entrant is revealed to be the six-time World Champion, the legendary Booker T! The returning Booker T would hold his own against CM Punk & The New Nexus, but the numbers game would catch up to the legend as Mason Ryan would shockingly eliminate the six-time World Champion! However, CM Punk & The New Nexus would be met by another detriment to Punk’s cause as the #22 entrant would be none other than John Cena as Cena would enter the Rumble and would eliminate Mason Ryan, David Otunga, & Michael McGillicutty, eliminating all of CM Punk’s New Nexus, leaving Punk to go one-on-one with John Cena! The #23 entrant, and the smallest, would then enter the match as Hornswoggle would enter the fray and would be the victim of a vicious kick by CM Punk! John Cena would then completely eradicate the existence of The New Nexus from the Royal Rumble Match with the elimination of CM Punk! Cena would then help Hornswoggle up as the odd pairing of Cena and Hornswoggle would await the #24 entrant, Tyson Kidd and both Cena and Hornswoggle would deliver the Attitude Adjustment to Kidd before Cena would eliminate Kidd! The #25 entrant would then be revealed to be Corre member Heath Slater as Cena and Hornswoggle would double-team Slater before Cena would eliminate the Corre member! The #26 entrant would then be revealed to be Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston before the #27 entrant enters the match as “The All-American American” Jack Swagger enters the match before King Sheamus would enter at #28! With Hornswoggle on the top rope, King Sheamus would deliver the Brogue Kick to Hornswoggle, eliminating the little man from the Rumble! The #29 entrant would then enter the match as the 2006 Royal Rumble winner, Rey Mysterio, would join the fray and would deliver a modified 619 to eliminate Jack Swagger! The #30 entrant would then be revealed to be Corre member Wade Barrett and, after failing to win the World Heavyweight Title earlier in the night, the #31 entrant would be revealed to be Dolph Ziggler! The #32 entrant would then be another shocker as the former WWE Champion, Diesel, would make his return! The #33 entrant would then come out as “The Chosen One” Drew McIntyre would enter the match, followed by the personally signed “apprentice” of WWE Champion The Miz entering the match as Alex Riley would enter the match at #34, but while Riley enters the match and The Miz sits down to be a guest on commentary, Wade Barrett delivers a big boot to eliminate Diesel! The #35 entrant would then enter the match as “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show would lock eyes with the departing Diesel before entering the match and would eliminate Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre! The #36 entrant would then be revealed to be the last member of The Corre, Ezekiel Jackson as “Big Zeke” would dominate and eliminate Big Show! The #37 entrant would then enter the match as the other half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Santino Marella, would enter the match! The #38 entrant would then be revealed to be the Superstar who stated that it was his “destiny” to win the Royal Rumble Match as “The Mexican Elitist” Alberto Del Rio would take his time entering the match, but the #39 entrant would help Del Rio along as, after CM Punk & The New Nexus ensured that he would fail to win the WWE Title earlier in the night, “The Viper” Randy Orton would enter the match and would assault Del Rio before entering the ring and delivering RKO’s all around before eliminating Kofi Kingston and King Sheamus! Then it was time for the final participant in the 40-Man Royal Rumble Match to be revealed as “The Big Red Monster” Kane would enter the match and would eliminate Corre member Ezekiel Jackson before being eliminated by Rey Mysterio, who is in turn eliminated by Wade Barrett, leaving only four Superstars left in the Royal Rumble Match as John Cena, Randy Orton, Wade Barrett, & Alberto Del Rio remained! After being eliminated earlier on in the match, Alex Riley would re-emerge and would distract John Cena long enough for WWE Champion The Miz to enter the ring and eliminate Cena from the match! It would then come down to three Superstars as only Randy Orton, Wade Barrett, & Alberto Del Rio remained! Randy Orton would then eliminate Wade Barrett, but Alberto Del Rio would come from behind and eliminate Randy Orton to win the 40-Man Royal Rumble Match, or so it would seem, but the referee would inform Del Rio that there was one Superstar left to contend with as Santino Marella would re-enter the ring, never having been formally eliminated! Santino Marella would hit the Cobra Strike on Alberto Del Rio, but the overexcitement of the moment would cost Santino as Del Rio would recover enough to send Santino over the top rope to win the 2011 Royal Rumble and earn a guaranteed title opportunity at WrestleMania! Now the question remains, will Alberto Del Rio challenge for the WWE or World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania XXVII? One night after a shocking, unforgettable, and historic Royal Rumble event that saw the shocking returns of two former World Champions in Booker T. and Diesel during the Royal Rumble Match, as well as “The Mexican Elitist” Alberto Del Rio winning the 40-Man Royal Rumble Match and CM Punk & The New Nexus costing Randy Orton the WWE Title, the 923rd edition of WWE Monday Night RAW came to you, live, from the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, RI. With the question of which title Alberto Del Rio will challenge for, either the WWE or World Heavyweight Title, at WrestleMania XXVII still unanswered, RAW would see the fallout of one of the most unforgettable Royal Rumble events in history! Monday Night RAW (January 31, 2011) Good Week For: Jerry “The King” Lawler (in a shocking upset, won the RAW Rumble Match and will challenge The Miz for the WWE Title) Bad Week For: Husky Harris (was punted in the skull by Randy Orton) Detailed Results Follow… One night after winning the 2011 Royal Rumble Match and earning a guaranteed shot at either the WWE or World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania XXVII, the show kicks off with Ricardo Rodriguez, who brings out a mariachi band before the winner of the 2011 Royal Rumble Match makes his entrance into the arena as the show kicks off with Alberto Del Rio! Del Rio states that the fans “never listen” because he told them that it was his “destiny” to win the 2011 Royal Rumble Match and RAW will be his night of celebration! Del Rio then reveals that the mariachi band only plays for the Mexican president and himself before stating that, as the winner of the Royal Rumble, he has the option of facing either the WWE Champion or the World Heavyweight Champion for their title at WrestleMania and he will make that decision right now! Before Alberto Del Rio can make his announcement, Del Rio is interrupted by the arrival of the still WWE Champion The Miz and Miz’s “apprentice” Alex Riley as Miz states that he hopes that Del Rio chooses to face him at WrestleMania for the WWE Title because he will be the champion heading into WrestleMania, while Edge will not! Miz then tries to plant the seed in Del Rio’s head to face Edge at WrestleMania by saying that Edge was telling “anyone that would listen” that he would “embarrass” Del Rio at WrestleMania as Edge “mocked” Del Rio’s accent and that Del Rio’s cars are “rentals” before Alex Riley says that he gives Del Rio his “word” that he heard Edge say that Edge has “no respect for a second rate JBL meets Tito Santana knockoff like Alberto Del Rio”! Del Rio then calls out The Miz and asks the WWE Champion if he is “lying” to avoid facing him at WrestleMania and Miz states that he is telling the “truth” about Edge’s comments! After hearing all of this, the still World Heavyweight Champion Edge comes out and tells Alberto Del Rio that he does not “like” Del Rio nor does he “respect” Del Rio, but that anything he has to say to Del Rio, he will say to Del Rio’s face! Edge then vows that he will be the World Heavyweight Champion come WrestleMania and, if Del Rio opts to face him at WrestleMania, then he will lose! Del Rio then makes his decision by saying that, at WrestleMania, he will be the new World Heavyweight Champion! Edge then “congratulates” Del Rio and, as The Miz, Alex Riley, and the mariachi band quickly exit the ring, Edge pops Del Rio with the microphone, but Edge would become distracted by his opponent later on in the evening, The Miz, allowing Del Rio to make a definitive statement by blasting Edge in the shoulder with one of the mariachi band member’s guitars before locking in the cross armbreaker on the World Heavyweight Champion before referees come out to tend to Edge! What is the status Edge after this attack? Will Edge be able to compete in the Champion Vs. Champion rematch against The Miz in the main event? An email from the anonymous General Manager of RAW would then come in as the GM announces the first ever RAW Rumble where seven Superstars will compete where the winning Superstar will advance to challenge WWE Champion The Miz at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view and the six losing Superstars will compete in an Elimination Chamber Match at the event before the GM reveals the participants in the RAW Rumble as “The Viper” Randy Orton, New Nexus leader CM Punk, “The Prince of Parkour” John Morrison, R-Truth, the 2010 King of the Ring Sheamus, WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler, and the 2010 Superstar of the Year John Cena! Who will earn the opportunity to challenge The Miz for the WWE Title at WWE Elimination Chamber and who will be entered into the demonic Elimination Chamber Match? After defeating Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov in a non-title match last week, New Nexus members Husky Harris & Michael McGillicutty would challenge Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov, with Tamina in their corner, for the WWE Tag Team Titles! In the end, it was Santino Marella hitting the Cobra Strike on Husky Harris en route to picking up the win and retaining the WWE Tag Team Titles! After the match, as Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov make their exit after successfully retaining the WWE Tag Team Titles, Randy Orton would rush into the ring and, fueled by anger after CM Punk & The New Nexus cost him the WWE Title at the Royal Rumble, Orton would deliver an RKO to Husky Harris & Michael McGillicutty, but as Orton was ready to punt Husky Harris into oblivion, New Nexus leader CM Punk comes out with New Nexus members Mason Ryan & David Otunga who tells Orton to stop and “don’t do it” and warns Orton that, if he punts Husky Harris, there will be “serious consequences and repercussions”! Orton would then look to back off, but would look at the fans and then look at CM Punk before smiling and getting back into position before delivering a vile punt to the skull of Husky Harris! CM Punk & The New Nexus would then rush to the ring as Randy Orton made his exit through the crowd, leaving Punk & The New Nexus to tend to their fallen comrade! How will CM Punk & The New Nexus respond to Randy Orton taking out Husky Harris? “The Fortunate Son” Ted DiBiase and girlfriend Maryse then comes out as DiBiase would address Hall of Famer and RAW commentator Jerry “The King” Lawler as DiBiase tells Lawler that Lawler’s “career is over” and that Lawler should make way for the “future” as DiBiase tells Lawler that he should give up his spot in the RAW Rumble! Fellow RAW commentator Michael Cole then opts to speak on Lawler’s behalf and calls Lawler a “scene stealer” and states that Lawler would not allow his “selfish, self-centered, narcissistic ego” take himself out of the RAW Rumble! Lawler then snatches the microphone from Cole and states that he is not giving up his spot in the RAW Rumble because his Road To WrestleMania has always been “under construction” as he is has been in the WWE for 18 years and he has never competed in a match at WrestleMania and, as far as he is concerned, his Road To WrestleMania begins on RAW before stating that he will compete in the RAW Rumble Match and he will win it! Lawler would then go to set the microphone down, but Ted DiBiase would push Jerry Lawler into Michael Cole and Lawler would respond by pursuing Ted DiBiase, but DiBiase would hide behind Maryse! Maryse would then realize that DiBiase just used her as a human shield as Maryse would deliver a slap to the face of DiBiase before storming off, leaving DiBiase unprotected as Jerry Lawler would deliver a hard right hand to “The Fortunate Son”! Can Jerry “The King” Lawler do the unthinkable and beat Randy Orton, CM Punk, John Morrison, Sheamus, R-Truth, & John Cena to get the opportunity to challenge The Miz for the WWE Title at WWE Elimination Chamber? A mysterious promo would then air on RAW as a figure in black cowboy boots and a black overcoat is shown walking through the mud on a dark and stormy night before the mysterious individual walks onto an old, rickety wooden porch before walking into a small, old house where the lights flicker as the individual walks onto the porch before the date 2.21.11 appears in branding on the screen! What does this mean? Who or what is arriving the night after WWE Elimination Chamber? With The Bella Twins guests on commentary, United States Champion Daniel Bryan, with girlfriend Gail Kim in his corner, would go one-on-one with “The Crowned Prince” Tyson Kidd in a non-title match! In the end, it was Daniel Bryan locking in the LeBell Lock on Tyson Kidd, forcing Kidd to tap out to win the match! After the match, The Bella Twins would enter the ring, sparking yet another brawl between the Divas that has to be broken up by Daniel Bryan and numerous referees! After their match was ended inconclusively on last week’s RAW, the rematch would take place on RAW as, one night after retaining the WWE Title against Randy Orton, with a big assist by CM Punk & The New Nexus, WWE Champion The Miz would go one-on-one with World Heavyweight Champion Edge one night after Edge successfully retained the title against Dolph Ziggler and later in the night after he was attacked by Alberto Del Rio in a Champion Vs. Champion Match where the anonymous RAW General Manager has deemed that there “must be a winner”! After being eliminated from the Royal Rumble Match by The Miz, John Cena would get a measure of revenge on the WWE Champion as, when it looked like The Miz was closing in on a win over Edge, Cena would distract Miz by leading the fans in a chant of “Miz is awful”, which would allow Edge to hit the Spear on The Miz en route to picking up the win! How will The Miz respond to the distraction by John Cena? As originally announced on WWE.com over the weekend, the announcement would be made on RAW that, when WWE Tough Enough returns on the USA Network after RAW on April 4, the reality show will be hosted by none other than the incomparable Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin! What does Stone Cold Steve Austin have in store for Tough Enough? The acting General Manager of SmackDown Vickie Guerrero then makes an appearance on RAW to announce that, this Friday on SmackDown, Edge will defend the World Heavyweight Title in a way that the title has “never” been defended in before as World Heavyweight Champion Edge will team with Kelly Kelly to face “The Platinum Superstar” Dolph Ziggler & LayCool in a 3-on-2 Mixed Handicap Match where the World Heavyweight Title would be on the line! What will happen in this unique World Heavyweight Title match this Friday night on SmackDown? One night after a controversial Divas Title match where she pinned Layla while Michelle McCool pinned Natalya, the second of which went unseen by the referee, the new Divas Champion Eve Torres would team with the former Divas Champion Natalya to face Layla & Michelle McCool! In the end, it was Layla hitting an impressive new maneuver called the Face Lift on Eve Torres en route to Layla pinning the Divas Champion to pick up the win for LayCool! RAW would see a colossus new tag team in action as, with a combined weight of 838 lbs., The Great Khali would make his return to RAW to team with “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry to face Jimmy & Jey Uso, but before the match begins, the anonymous General Manager of RAW chimes in with an email that announces that, since The Usos are outmatches in size by Khali & Henry, he is changing the tag team match into a Dance Off! The Dance Off would then be brought to an end when Jimmy & Jey Uso would make the questionable decision to attack The Great Khali & Mark Henry from behind, which would result in Mark Henry hitting the World’s Strongest Slam and Great Khali hitting the Punjabi Plunge on The Usos! Then it was time for the main event where “The Viper” Randy Orton, the leader of The New Nexus CM Punk, “The Prince of Parkour” John Morrison, the 2010 King of the Ring King Sheamus, R-Truth, Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler, and the 2010 Superstar of the Year John Cena would compete in the first ever RAW Rumble Match where, like the Royal Rumble Match, two randomly drawn Superstars will begin the match and, every 90 seconds, another competitor would enter the match, which would go on until every Superstar has entered the match and elimination comes when a Superstar is thrown over the top rope with both feet touching the floor! The winner of the RAW Rumble Match would get the opportunity to challenge The Miz for the WWE Title at WWE Elimination Chamber while the six losing competitors will compete in the RAW Elimination Chamber Match at WWE Elimination Chamber with the winner of that match challenging for the WWE Title at WrestleMania! The #1 entrant would be revealed as “The Prince of Parkour” John Morrison and the #2 entrant would be a familiar rival in the 2010 King of the Ring King Sheamus! The #3 entrant would then be revealed to be John Cena, followed by the #4 entrant CM Punk and the #5 entrant R-Truth! Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler would then enter at #6, followed by the final entrant into the RAW Rumble Match, “The Viper” Randy Orton, but as Orton makes his entrance, CM Punk would escape the ring under the bottom rope and would hide under the ring, but Orton would drag Punk out from under the ring and throw Punk in before sending Punk over the top rope to the floor, scoring the first elimination, but R-Truth would come from behind and eliminate Orton! The next elimination would see John Cena hoist both R-Truth and John Morrison onto his shoulders, managing to eliminate R-Truth while John Morrison hangs on to remain in the match! After countless close calls with being eliminated, John Morrison would finally find himself eliminated following a Brogue Kick off of the ring apron by King Sheamus! The next elimination would see King Sheamus trying to eliminate John Cena as Cena was on the ring apron and Sheamus would throw Jerry Lawler into Cena, eliminating Cena from the match before King Sheamus would go for the Brogue Kick on Jerry Lawler, but Lawler would duck the move while Cena pulled down the top rope to eliminate Sheamus from the match and earn the Hall of Famer the biggest win of his legendary career! After a shocking upset to win the RAW Rumble Match, legendary wrestler and commentator Jerry “The King” Lawler will finally have his shot at immortality as Lawler will challenge The Miz for the WWE Title in three weeks’ time at WWE Elimination Chamber! Can Jerry “The King” Lawler do the unthinkable and unseat The Miz to win the WWE Title for the first time in his Hall of Fame career and punch his ticket to compete at WrestleMania for the first time ever? The 94th edition of WWE Superstars came to you from the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, RI and from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Arena in Long Island, NY. The Superstars of SmackDown would main event the show with tag team action as “The Brooklyn Baller” JTG would team with “The Dude Buster” Trent Barreta to face the team of “The Party Starter” Curt Hawkins and “The X Factor” Tyler Reks! WWE Superstars (February 3, 2011) Good Week For: Yoshi Tatsu & David Hart Smith (picked up a win over the confident team of Primo & Zack Ryder) Bad Week For: Curt Hawkins (picked up the win for himself and Tyler Reks in the main event, only to be left laid out by Reks) Detailed Results Follow… Before competing in the opening match of the night, the confident new team of Primo & Zack Ryder speak to the WWE fans as Ryder proclaims that they are the “hottest tag team” in the WWE before Primo demands “respect” for them before proclaiming that they are the “only undefeated tag team in the WWE” and vowing that “nothing” can stop them from going to WrestleMania! In a rematch from last week, the opening match of the night would see tag team action from RAW as the confident new team of Primo & Zack Ryder would take on the team of Yoshi Tatsu & David Hart Smith! In the end, it was Yoshi Tatsu landing a roundhouse kick to the back of the head of Zack Ryder en route to picking up the win for himself and David Hart Smith! The Divas were also in action on WWE Superstars as “The A-List Diva” Melina would go one-on-one with the daughter of Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka, Tamina! In the end, it was Melina hitting the Sunset Split on Tamina en route to picking up the win! Then it was time for the main event as “The Brooklyn Baller” JTG would team with “The Dude Buster” Trent Barreta to face the team of “The Party Starter” Curt Hawkins & “The X Factor” Tyler Reks! At the end of a chaotic match, it was Curt Hawkins hitting the Heat Seeking Elbow Drop on Trent Barreta en route to picking up the win for himself and Tyler Reks! After the match, the unpredictability of the wild man, Tyler Reks, would show as Reks would attack his tag team partner, Curt Hawkins, and would lay Hawkins out with the Burning Hammer in the center of the ring! How will Curt Hawkins respond to this attack by Tyler Reks? Five nights after a controversial, shocking, and unforgettable Royal Rumble, the 598th edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown came to you from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, NY. After using the banned Spear on Dolph Ziggler with the referee and acting General Manager Vickie Guerrero down, thanks to Kelly Kelly, en route to retaining the World Heavyweight Title at the Royal Rumble, the acting General Manager of SmackDown announced a history-making match for SmackDown as, for the first time ever, the World Heavyweight Title would be defended in a 3-on-2 Mixed Handicap Match as World Heavyweight Champion Edge would team with Kelly Kelly to take on the team of Vickie Guerrero’s boyfriend “The Platinum Superstar” Dolph Ziggler and LayCool; Layla & Michelle McCool in a match where, if Edge or Kelly Kelly score the win, then Edge retains the World Heavyweight Title, but if Dolph Ziggler, Layla, or Michelle McCool get the win, then Dolph Ziggler will be crowned the new World Heavyweight Champion! Friday Night SmackDown (February 4, 2011) Good Week For: Dolph Ziggler (will get yet another shot at the World Heavyweight Title next week with Vickie Guerrero as the Special Referee) Bad Week For: Kelly Kelly (picked up the win in the main event only to be fired by Vickie Guerrero) Detailed Results Follow… The show kicks off in a major way as, five nights after his shocking return to the WWE during the Royal Rumble Match, SmackDown kicks off with the six-time World Champion Booker T. as Booker delivers his signature Spinarooni move in the middle of the ring before taking his seat at ringside as SmackDown’s new color commentator! Acting General Manager of SmackDown Vickie Guerrero and her boyfriend, Dolph Ziggler, then come out as Vickie proclaims that SmackDown will be a show that the fans will “never forget” before announcing that she has set up qualifying matches to determine who will take part in the SmackDown Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title at WWE Elimination Chamber before Vickie reiterates the 3-on-2 Mixed Handicap Match for the World Heavyweight Title as the main event before Vickie demands that Kelly Kelly comes to the ring! The SmackDown Diva complies as Kelly Kelly comes to the ring as Vickie asks Kelly Kelly who she thinks she is putting her hands on her at the Royal Rumble and she is the reason that Dolph Ziggler is not the World Heavyweight Champion! Vickie then states that it would have been “too easy” to have fired Kelly Kelly, so that is why she opted to “humiliate” Kelly Kelly and let Kelly Kelly “feel what it’s like” to be the “distraction” and the “reason” that Edge will lose the World Heavyweight Title and that Kelly Kelly has forgotten who she is! Kelly Kelly then fires back by saying that they all know who Vickie is as Vickie is the one who is trying to destroy her “character” and is always going through her stuff and is constantly in her “personal life” and she is “sick of it” before saying that maybe she should “quit”! Vickie then states that she does not know what Kelly Kelly is talking about and calls Kelly Kelly “little Barbie” and Kelly Kelly responds by calling Vickie a “vindictive, paranoid, power hungry witch” and everyone is “sick” of Vickie Guerrero! Dolph Ziggler then steps in and accuses Kelly Kelly of being the “reason” that he is not the World Heavyweight Champion because Kelly Kelly took down Vickie, allowing Edge to hit the “illegal Spear” before calling himself the “uncrowned World Heavyweight Champion” and states that, the only reason that Kelly Kelly is still a part of SmackDown is so that Kelly Kelly can be the reason that he “officially” becomes the World Heavyweight Champion! Dolph then tells Kelly Kelly that, until the main event, they have no “use” for her so she should just leave! Kelly Kelly responds by slapping Dolph across the face and shoving Vickie Guerrero down, prompting LayCool to come down and confront Kelly Kelly, which would prompt World Heavyweight Champion Edge to come down and deliver a right hand to Dolph Ziggler, allowing the ring to clear out! When Edge is forced to defend his World Heavyweight Title in a 3-on-2 Mixed Handicap Match, can Edge retain the World Heavyweight Title or will this unique match wield a new World Heavyweight Champion in Dolph Ziggler? Four nights after successfully retaining the WWE Tag Team Titles against New Nexus members Husky Harris & Michael McGillicutty on RAW, WWE Tag Team Champions would face familiar foes in the former WWE Tag Team Champions, Corre members Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel in a non-title match! In the end, it was Justin Gabriel hitting the 450 Splash on Vladimir Kozlov en route to picking up an impressive win for himself and Heath Slater! Prior to the first Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match, it was revealed that Dolph Ziggler is automatically in the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title! Then it was time for the first of four Elimination Chamber Qualifying Matches as Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston would go one-on-one with “The Chosen One” Drew McIntyre with a spot in the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title on the line! During the match, Alberto Del Rio would appear on the Tron, which would distract Kofi Kingston long enough for Drew McIntyre to take advantage and hit the Future Shock DDT on Kofi en route to picking up the win and qualifying for the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title! How will Kofi Kingston respond to Alberto Del Rio’s distraction? Who else will qualify for the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title? Then it was time for the second of four Elimination Chamber Qualifying Matches as “The Ultimate Underdog” Rey Mysterio would go one-on-one with “The All-American American” Jack Swagger with a spot in the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title on the line! At the end of a hard-fought match that saw the knee and ankle assaulted by Jack Swagger, Rey Mysterio would come out of nowhere with a quick kick to the face en route to pinning Swagger to pick up the win and qualify for the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title at WWE Elimination Chamber! Five nights after becoming the winner of the 2011 Royal Rumble Match and four nights after making his decision to challenge for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania on RAW, “The Mexican Elitist” Alberto Del Rio would make an appearance on SmackDown! Del Rio reiterates that it is his “destiny” to become the new World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania and states that he was planning to have his celebration later in the night, but with Hornswoggle and Rosa Mendes in the ring, he decided to have the celebration early to share the contents of his WrestleMania piñata with Hornswoggle! Hornswoggle is then blindfolded and given a stick to try and bust open the piñata, but Del Rio laughs at Hornswoggle when the piñata is up too high for Hornswoggle to reach before Del Rio has the piñata lowered to where Hornswoggle could reach, but when Hornswoggle swings for the piñata, Hornswoggle would inadvertently hit Del Rio below the belt! Del Rio would then blast a blindfolded Hornswoggle with a kick to the head and, when Del Rio pummels Hornswoggle, Kofi Kingston would rush out and would send Del Rio out of the ring, but when Kofi tries to get a hold of Del Rio’s personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez, Del Rio would rush back in the ring and attack Kofi from behind, leading to a heinous assault by Del Rio as Del Rio repeatedly waylays Kofi with the piñata stick before locking on the cross armbreaker, prompting referees to come out and eventually pulling Del Rio off of Kofi! What is the status of Kofi Kingston following this heinous attack by Alberto Del Rio? It was revealed on SmackDown that, in addition to Stone Cold Steve Austin being the host of WWE Tough Enough when the show returns the night after WrestleMania, new SmackDown Color Commentator Booker T will be a coach on the reality show! What does the six time World Champion have in store for the young Tough Enough hopefuls when the show returns in April? Then it was time for the third of four Elimination Chamber Qualifying Matches as “The Big Red Monster” Kane would go one-on-one with “The Mexican Warrior” Chavo Guerrero! In the end, it was Kane picking up a dominant win over Chavo Guerrero after hitting the chokeslam to qualify for the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title! Who will be the final SmackDown Superstar to qualify for the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title? Then it was time for the final Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match as “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show would go one-on-one with Corre member Wade Barrett, with Corre members Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel, & Ezekiel Jackson in his corner, with the final spot in the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title on the line! During the match, the referee is inadvertently knocked down, allowing The Corre to interfere with Ezekiel Jackson blasting Big Show with a clothesline, which would allow Wade Barrett to hit a DDT on Big Show en route to picking up the win and becoming the final Superstar to qualify for the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title! After the match, Big Show would attack Wade Barrett only for Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel to deliver a double chop block to Big Show, allowing Ezekiel Jackson to deliver an impressive slam on Big Show before the big man tells Big Show that the “end has come and it has awakened against you”! Can any one Superstar stop the onslaught of The Corre? Then it was time for the main event as, for the first time ever, the World Heavyweight Title would be on the line in a 3-on-2 Mixed Handicap Match as World Heavyweight Champion Edge would team with Kelly Kelly to face the team of “The Platinum Superstar” Dolph Ziggler and LayCool; Layla & Michelle McCool in a match where, if Edge or Kelly Kelly score the win in the match, then Edge retains the World Heavyweight Title, but if Dolph Ziggler, Layla, or Michelle McCool score the win, then Dolph Ziggler wins the World Heavyweight Title, but before the match begins, acting General Manager and girlfriend Vickie Guerrero adds the stipulation that, like at the Royal Rumble, the Spear will be banned from the match and, if Edge uses the Spear, he will be immediately stripped of the World Heavyweight Title! At the end of a chaotic match, it was an inadvertent kick by Michelle McCool to Layla that would allow Kelly Kelly to deliver the Spear to Layla en route to picking up the win to retain the World Heavyweight Title for Edge! After the match, acting General Manager Vickie Guerrero would enter the ring and would tell Kelly Kelly that she just competed in her last match because she is fired! As Kelly Kelly leaves the ring crying, a maniacal Vickie Guerrero tells Kelly Kelly that she does not give a “damn” about Kelly Kelly before informing Edge that, next week, Edge will defend the World Heavyweight Title against Dolph Ziggler again and she will be the Special Referee! This would prompt Dolph Ziggler to enter the ring and hit the Zig Zag on Edge! Can Edge overcome the odds of Vickie Guerrero being the Special Referee next week to retain the World Heavyweight Title or will the acting General Manager ensure that her boyfriend, Dolph Ziggler, is crowned the new World Heavyweight Champion?
