Detailed Results The show kicks off in a major way as, five nights after his shocking return to the WWE during the Royal Rumble Match, SmackDown kicks off with the six-time World Champion Booker T. as Booker delivers his signature Spinarooni move in the middle of the ring before taking his seat at ringside as SmackDown’s new color commentator! Acting General Manager of SmackDown Vickie Guerrero and her boyfriend, Dolph Ziggler, then come out as Vickie proclaims that SmackDown will be a show that the fans will “never forget” before announcing that she has set up qualifying matches to determine who will take part in the SmackDown Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title at WWE Elimination Chamber before Vickie reiterates the 3-on-2 Mixed Handicap Match for the World Heavyweight Title as the main event before Vickie demands that Kelly Kelly comes to the ring! The SmackDown Diva complies as Kelly Kelly comes to the ring as Vickie asks Kelly Kelly who she thinks she is putting her hands on her at the Royal Rumble and she is the reason that Dolph Ziggler is not the World Heavyweight Champion! Vickie then states that it would have been “too easy” to have fired Kelly Kelly, so that is why she opted to “humiliate” Kelly Kelly and let Kelly Kelly “feel what it’s like” to be the “distraction” and the “reason” that Edge will lose the World Heavyweight Title and that Kelly Kelly has forgotten who she is! Kelly Kelly then fires back by saying that they all know who Vickie is as Vickie is the one who is trying to destroy her “character” and is always going through her stuff and is constantly in her “personal life” and she is “sick of it” before saying that maybe she should “quit”! Vickie then states that she does not know what Kelly Kelly is talking about and calls Kelly Kelly “little Barbie” and Kelly Kelly responds by calling Vickie a “vindictive, paranoid, power hungry witch” and everyone is “sick” of Vickie Guerrero! Dolph Ziggler then steps in and accuses Kelly Kelly of being the “reason” that he is not the World Heavyweight Champion because Kelly Kelly took down Vickie, allowing Edge to hit the “illegal Spear” before calling himself the “uncrowned World Heavyweight Champion” and states that, the only reason that Kelly Kelly is still a part of SmackDown is so that Kelly Kelly can be the reason that he “officially” becomes the World Heavyweight Champion! Dolph then tells Kelly Kelly that, until the main event, they have no “use” for her so she should just leave! Kelly Kelly responds by slapping Dolph across the face and shoving Vickie Guerrero down, prompting LayCool to come down and confront Kelly Kelly, which would prompt World Heavyweight Champion Edge to come down and deliver a right hand to Dolph Ziggler, allowing the ring to clear out! When Edge is forced to defend his World Heavyweight Title in a 3-on-2 Mixed Handicap Match, can Edge retain the World Heavyweight Title or will this unique match wield a new World Heavyweight Champion in Dolph Ziggler? Four nights after successfully retaining the WWE Tag Team Titles against New Nexus members Husky Harris & Michael McGillicutty on RAW, WWE Tag Team Champions would face familiar foes in the former WWE Tag Team Champions, Corre members Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel in a non-title match! In the end, it was Justin Gabriel hitting the 450 Splash on Vladimir Kozlov en route to picking up an impressive win for himself and Heath Slater! Prior to the first Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match, it was revealed that Dolph Ziggler is automatically in the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title! Then it was time for the first of four Elimination Chamber Qualifying Matches as Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston would go one-on-one with “The Chosen One” Drew McIntyre with a spot in the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title on the line! During the match, Alberto Del Rio would appear on the Tron, which would distract Kofi Kingston long enough for Drew McIntyre to take advantage and hit the Future Shock DDT on Kofi en route to picking up the win and qualifying for the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title! How will Kofi Kingston respond to Alberto Del Rio’s distraction? Who else will qualify for the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title? Then it was time for the second of four Elimination Chamber Qualifying Matches as “The Ultimate Underdog” Rey Mysterio would go one-on-one with “The All-American American” Jack Swagger with a spot in the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title on the line! At the end of a hard-fought match that saw the knee and ankle assaulted by Jack Swagger, Rey Mysterio would come out of nowhere with a quick kick to the face en route to pinning Swagger to pick up the win and qualify for the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title at WWE Elimination Chamber! Five nights after becoming the winner of the 2011 Royal Rumble Match and four nights after making his decision to challenge for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania on RAW, “The Mexican Elitist” Alberto Del Rio would make an appearance on SmackDown! Del Rio reiterates that it is his “destiny” to become the new World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania and states that he was planning to have his celebration later in the night, but with Hornswoggle and Rosa Mendes in the ring, he decided to have the celebration early to share the contents of his WrestleMania piñata with Hornswoggle! Hornswoggle is then blindfolded and given a stick to try and bust open the piñata, but Del Rio laughs at Hornswoggle when the piñata is up too high for Hornswoggle to reach before Del Rio has the piñata lowered to where Hornswoggle could reach, but when Hornswoggle swings for the piñata, Hornswoggle would inadvertently hit Del Rio below the belt! Del Rio would then blast a blindfolded Hornswoggle with a kick to the head and, when Del Rio pummels Hornswoggle, Kofi Kingston would rush out and would send Del Rio out of the ring, but when Kofi tries to get a hold of Del Rio’s personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez, Del Rio would rush back in the ring and attack Kofi from behind, leading to a heinous assault by Del Rio as Del Rio repeatedly waylays Kofi with the piñata stick before locking on the cross armbreaker, prompting referees to come out and eventually pulling Del Rio off of Kofi! What is the status of Kofi Kingston following this heinous attack by Alberto Del Rio? It was revealed on SmackDown that, in addition to Stone Cold Steve Austin being the host of WWE Tough Enough when the show returns the night after WrestleMania, new SmackDown Color Commentator Booker T will be a coach on the reality show! What does the six time World Champion have in store for the young Tough Enough hopefuls when the show returns in April? Then it was time for the third of four Elimination Chamber Qualifying Matches as “The Big Red Monster” Kane would go one-on-one with “The Mexican Warrior” Chavo Guerrero! In the end, it was Kane picking up a dominant win over Chavo Guerrero after hitting the chokeslam to qualify for the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title! Who will be the final SmackDown Superstar to qualify for the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title? Then it was time for the final Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match as “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show would go one-on-one with Corre member Wade Barrett, with Corre members Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel, & Ezekiel Jackson in his corner, with the final spot in the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title on the line! During the match, the referee is inadvertently knocked down, allowing The Corre to interfere with Ezekiel Jackson blasting Big Show with a clothesline, which would allow Wade Barrett to hit a DDT on Big Show en route to picking up the win and becoming the final Superstar to qualify for the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title! After the match, Big Show would attack Wade Barrett only for Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel to deliver a double chop block to Big Show, allowing Ezekiel Jackson to deliver an impressive slam on Big Show before the big man tells Big Show that the “end has come and it has awakened against you”! Can any one Superstar stop the onslaught of The Corre? Then it was time for the main event as, for the first time ever, the World Heavyweight Title would be on the line in a 3-on-2 Mixed Handicap Match as World Heavyweight Champion Edge would team with Kelly Kelly to face the team of “The Platinum Superstar” Dolph Ziggler and LayCool; Layla & Michelle McCool in a match where, if Edge or Kelly Kelly score the win in the match, then Edge retains the World Heavyweight Title, but if Dolph Ziggler, Layla, or Michelle McCool score the win, then Dolph Ziggler wins the World Heavyweight Title, but before the match begins, acting General Manager and girlfriend Vickie Guerrero adds the stipulation that, like at the Royal Rumble, the Spear will be banned from the match and, if Edge uses the Spear, he will be immediately stripped of the World Heavyweight Title! At the end of a chaotic match, it was an inadvertent kick by Michelle McCool to Layla that would allow Kelly Kelly to deliver the Spear to Layla en route to picking up the win to retain the World Heavyweight Title for Edge! After the match, acting General Manager Vickie Guerrero would enter the ring and would tell Kelly Kelly that she just competed in her last match because she is fired! As Kelly Kelly leaves the ring crying, a maniacal Vickie Guerrero tells Kelly Kelly that she does not give a “damn” about Kelly Kelly before informing Edge that, next week, Edge will defend the World Heavyweight Title against Dolph Ziggler again and she will be the Special Referee! This would prompt Dolph Ziggler to enter the ring and hit the Zig Zag on Edge! Can Edge overcome the odds of Vickie Guerrero being the Special Referee next week to retain the World Heavyweight Title or will the acting General Manager ensure that her boyfriend, Dolph Ziggler, is crowned the new World Heavyweight Champion?
