Big WWE News: Royal Rumble Match To Feature 40 Superstars!

WWE.com has announced that, for the first time ever, the annual Royal Rumble Match will feature a total of 40 Superstars this year, making it the biggest Rumble Match in the match’s twenty-three year history! Since the 1989 Royal Rumble Match, the match had featured 30 Superstars (with the inaugural Rumble Match in 1988 only featuring 20 Superstars).

With the addition of ten Superstars to the match, the Royal Rumble Match will now be guaranteed to last at least 76 minutes (1 hour and 16 minutes) with a new Superstar entering every 2 minutes.

The 24th annual WWE Royal Rumble will come to you, live on pay-per-view, on January 30 from the TD Garden on Boston, MA.
